Competitive realistic AI, formation laps, podium animations, awesome progression gameplay, safety car, opportunistic start procedures, renewed car setups, more chances to get better, customisable avatars, incredible graphics and god knows what else. I can't be a coincidence that this was the first game to have youtuber input, so I have Tiatmetmarduk, aarav and xmattyG to thank for this.

It looks pretty accurate in the menus and in the dynamics of the race (VSC and SC). Seeing Arrivabene, and team celebrations at the end was a pleasant surprise. It's fairly much improved from last year
Haven't played F1 games since 2014, and I can't really remember how this aspect unveiled back then, but I'm happy with the sloppiness of the AI drivers, missing breaking points, making contact, crashing, etc. Hopefully there will be ''random'' engine failures like F1 2006 as well.
According to Lee Mather, developer of this game, this is not the final AI build. He gave this answer on Twitter. Someone asked him about this video: 'Yes, they've been worked on further since then. I rubbering in/marbles issue made them overly cautious', he said.
It's also good to see that the AI's race pace is slower than there qualifying pace. F1 2015, the race pace was just as fast as the qualifying pace so every lap had to be a hot one!
Looks like the damage model is still very bad - the only damage you can see is front wing and tyre damage :/ The rest of the car seems to be undestroyable...
I hope that for VSC they make you push a button to set a limiter. That'd be the best option imo instead of the delta. That can be abused quite a lot: go faster for like 10 seconds and then slow down in the remaining time.
I cannot underline enough how much I hope they will make the AI racy on other difficulties than just Ultimate as well. Not owning F1 2015, the racy AI that I've seen on Ben's and other's videos is pretty much the biggest thing I've been looking forward to in F1 2016.
Hey Ben I might not be that good at F1 games. But with manual shifting I seem to get a great start almost all the time. Try shifting really fast off the line. Like as soon as you shift into second shift into third IMMEDIATELY. Just a suggestion
I hope that they will fix those problems that u mention and i think that as u have a renault engine in ur red bull u should upgrade from first to last :1) engine 2) fuel efficiency 3)drag For now...

Might not be a bad idea to put some points into fuel saving. That way you can run full revs for longer, making your car so much faster over race distance.
In those situations AI should not try to stay on the outside, it should simply close the door let you hit them. You should not dive in the mid corner. No driver would allow this. It would happen what happened to Kimi and Bottas last year.
looks pretty good I wonder if the AI pace under the safety car, links with the VSC in the game, hence why they were slower??? Also i love the fact you get your own name on the garage for career mode, i'm definitely gonna buy this game, but probably when it's on sale and after a few more videos
the ai on the first few laps seem very passive, would be a bit more realistic if they would try to pass one another, instead they run in a almost straight line. but the rest of the games seems really cool. lots of depth with good feedback to the player.
Ben, your doing great and if I were you I would upgrade engine power and drag. In the real game I should race in a Williams and later in season 3 go to a team who was in the 1st season worse
Assuming you do well with collecting points is it possible to max out all the upgrade options using your resource points, or no matter how well you do will you only be able to acquire enough points for some of the options? Just curious to know how strategic you have to be with your selections.
If you play like that online don't be surprised to crash often... You're much to aggressive when you come in the inside... If your not wheel to wheel you shouldn't break as late as you do.
Ah. Sky F1 commentry. Also I have questions I've asked elsewhere: 1) Will it have local co-op/Multiplayer? As in same console, F12015 Lacked this. 2) For some reason I struggle massivly playing F1 2015, so much that I just went back and stuck with 2014, so my next question is how does it handle? Cause theres no point in having all this stuff, if I struggle to play it, I'm only speaking for me, cause I suck without the assists.
I don't like the sector time part of the rivalry section. Doesn't make sense that having a faster sector is just as important as finishing ahead of the rival in the race.
I feel like the AI still need to be improved under the SC; when the SC comes in, it seems like they're still leaving a somewhat big gap between each other; maybe they should be close to each other like the drivers IRL

It's not Codemasters fault, it's because FOM doesn't allow better damage

Yeah, I'd say put your points into Fuel Saving, as it will pay off in the long run...Mix 3 for longer = faster average pace over an entire race.
If you are still driving Red Bull for the next episode, place your resource points in engine power, we all know of Red Bull´s straight line speed
the car does not suffer turbulence in high curves, and is very easy to overtake on the straights

Hey Ben, there is something called "Holding your line" while you enter a turn in paralel. You should try it.

You were also doing around 70kph rather than 60kph when you crossed the pit limiter line and received to penalty.
Funny, the Safety car actually helped Ferrari in Australia unlike in real life!!

Green lights/flags should stay on for the entire lap after the SC comes in, seems they're only out for a few seconds...
