Everytime I launch the previewer my book is shown sideways and half the pages.. I tried EVERYTHING for the last couple of days and I simply don't know what to do anymore, anyone that could help me? I would very much appreciate it.

I also having same.
It got to be with the margins around the book . Is s one time setting for the whole book.
It has a setting number like:
.5 for the outer margin and
.66 for the gutter margins
.55 bottom margin
.66 header
Now kindle has it own settings.
Look for it.
Lower margins

Amazon KDP Publishing scammed me for close to 4 thousand dollars.
My e-book was in (pdf) format, I converted it to (kpf) using (Kindle Create) and then I uploaded it to Amazon, and in the item (Kindle eBook Preview) a message appeared saying (Your book cannot be downloaded) I do not know what I should do to solve this The problem I want you to advise me to solve it quickly.

I’m having issues with publishing my book on the paperback. My cover that I created is to large on the book and my manuscript is overlapping with the pages on the paperback. Hi, I created a book on MS Word 2013 in size 5x8inches. Now, when I am converting it to pdf via microsoft pdf, it converts as a4/letter size and there's no other option to print as 5x8inches. even though on the print page, size shows custom page size 5x8inches. still won't print in desired size. please help, I can't wait to publish my first book :)

Just about every book market requires a ePub file.

Dave, would you have any idea why an author's books, author page won't come up in a search on Amazon? Every author I have searched for, their book and/or author page will come up. When I search mine, neither comes up. Makes it hard for reader's to find me/my books. Thanks.

I typed in my author name and the print book wasn't even listed in the "Books" store! I checked each of the 70 or so pages of search results. Not found! I realize the book isn't new, but what's the point of having books there if customers can't find them?I've contacted AMZ, but they don't seem to get that NO ONE can find my books unless they type in the exact title, which nobody does. I've searched hundreds of author names that are close to my ranking and EVERY one of their books show on page 1 of the results. Sorry for the long story, but I'm just a little frustrated.

When filling the Title and Subtitle do we have to enter the "colon (:) punctuation mark" after the Title of our book?
Or will it be added automatically once the book is published?
Please check the below example. I'm talking about the colon after the Title (the word beginners).

How well are you doing on Kindle? Will you mentor me through the process?
I published my book as an Ebook; now I want to publish a paperback version. When I chose that option on my account, it says I must upload a .pdf or .doc, but I don't have a .doc file updated with changes I made to the Kinde Create format, including photos! Why can't I just upload my Kindle Create file & choose Paperback?
Like I said in the video, Kindle Create is very limited and only works for creating ebooks.
@@Kindlepreneur It seems to be too difficult to format a print version of my Ebook. I did most of the formatting of the Ebook using Kindle Create, not MS Word. My poems are all out of alignment, the other text before & after the body are not in my .doc, & neither are a few photos used. I thought Amazon could convert the format of an Ebook into a print book
Once I update my preferences while publishing an e book in KDP can I change any of the features later .
And how do you do it without any reference to Kindle which I don't have and don't want?

Thank you for this video, Dave! It's great! I was hoping you would show more of your book in the preview. I have illustrated a book you see, and the plan was to publish it as an ebook. At the time, I assumed I would convert it to PDF (or the other ebook-friendly formats), so I went all out with the illustration. Now I'm stuck. KDP doesn't like any of the ones I have tried (epub, PDF, etc...)
Is it possible to publish a heavily illustrated ebook on KDP?

I have seen some videos on other channels talking about having your book read by some people before it's launch and that way they are able to leave reviews? Wouldn't Amazon flag them without seeing a purchase?
And since Amazon cares about sales, how important are the reviews for the algorithms? If they are making sales, they would rank it up regardless, no?

Great video! But you skipped how to upload the manuscript. That's where I'm struggling.
Thanks but that is covered @5:20 in the video. It's literally just clicking the upload manuscript, selecting the file from your computer and voila. Now, if your question is how do you prepare your manuscript for upload, that's a completely different subject. The answer depends on which software you used to format your manuscript into the appropriate file - something like Atticus.io does the trick.

Hello Dave I have just uploaded an Ebook in Amazon Kindle, even if i have entered each and every details that Publishing your eBook is still not working for me😢 that's why i am unable to publish my ebook, i have contacted their support team but they didn't help me in any way😭😭 can you please help why this is happening with me and how to get rid of this😢

If you upload to Amazon you don't need a ISBN.

I'm not a lawyer, so please don't take this response as legal advice: I wouldn't wait for Trademark because publishing doesn't hinder it in any way (as far as I know), and I'm actually pretty sure it helps your claim in that there proposed Trademark is out in public.
