The guys at St Pete's in FoCo are the best. I've learned so much from them. Support Local. Can't wait to graduate and get back into it hard. St. Pete's will be my first stop.
Love seeing and learning the history of the fly shops I’ve visited. Yall need to get over to Gunnison, Basalt, Crested Butte, Durango…so many more to visit. I’ll be watching. Great Job!
Love the content, but man, steadier video please. Also please check spelling "raffel" and "Pewter"...should be "raffle" and "Poudre", I believe. Would be nice to see all the work at a high level. Look forward to seeing more.
When I travel I try to hit all the fly shops I can find. St. Pete's helped me out with information, a guide book and fly tying supplies. Fun video, thanks.
The story of Ben's father with the melanoma will get me on my soap box a bit, as a group that does spend a fair amount of time in the sun at high altitude, visit a dermatologist and get a skin check. By brother at 32 had a mole biopsied off of his back that was found to be an early stage 1 melanoma, and was removed cleanly. It's one of those that if it isn't caught early, there's not a whole lot you can do.
St. Pete’s is the best shop. Jin sold me my first fly rod when I was about 10 years old. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Thanks for all you do St. Pete’s
If you guys end up back in Summit County … Jackson Streit’s shop Mountain Angler in Breckenridge is a must. I’ve fished with them for a couple decades in the summer months on vacation and have loved the experience.
Nice . I lived in CO for over 40 years it was good to these shops still around and doing good . I still have a cabin by Deckers and fish there and use to see Pat in the canyon for years ,but there is so much water in CO that it would be hard to cover it all in a lifetime and there are so many shops throughout the state it would take months to check them all out . I Live in MT now and can’t wait to see the shops you stop by . Thanks for sharing and helping support our passion. Happy Trails
Come for the fishing, stay for the amazing variety of local brews! Try some stillwater too; high mountain lake monster cutthroats await you up on the Continental Divide.
@@FlylordsMedia Yep. The south west of the province has some trout fishing if you know where to go but the bass fishing is great. Bring the 6wt, 7wt, and a box of bass flies.
Really cool and worthy idea to travel and highlight the local fly shops! My local go to shop is Cutthroat Anglers. Great fly shop w great guys, easy to talk to and always very helpful. I take all my out of town fishing guests to Cutthroat and we always walk out with more gear and flies!
We will be Anoucing the winner of the gift card for people not in Colorado at the end of the week. If you are In Colorado, go give the shops a visit to find out!
St Petes did u dirty. They took you to the community swimming hole. Literally. They must not have liked your vibe. They have access to multiple waters within 30 minutes of the shop that you can catch true trophy bows and browns. I mean the real deal. I won't tell how long or heavy these fish are. You wouldn't believe me. It's not uncommon to get spooled. I was surprised that you didn't swing in and fish Grey Reef. You drove right past it on your drive to Sheridan when you were in WY. Massive fish live there. I mean Massive...

Hell yeah!
Great video , would be much better if cameras have better stabilization 🙏
Promise the episodes get even better ( :
Love it! Stabilizing would be good for viewing pleasure 😊
Not the best filming... Good editing though. Quit zooming in and out, too much shake as well.

Cool video, but what’s up with the constant zooming in and out at Blue Quill?
Couldn't agree more!
Love the content! But dude the shaky filming is enough to give me motion sickness!!!!

Blue Quill Angler is one of the raddest shops on the Front Range. Well done gents!!
We agree!
Yewww
The cameraman has to to chill out with the shakiness and constant zooming in and out. I’m literally nauseous watching this. Calm down.

Awesome, loved watching this :)
That is one of my favorite shops hands down, Cutthroat Anglers. I go there all of the time when I’m staying in Frisco.

What was Pat's rig?
Do a video on that van!

Love it! But was “Pewter” actually supposed to be “Poudre” at 20:12? Asking for a friend… ;)
Glad you loved it! You're right, let's blame that on the "Monday's"...
Can you do an episode on the Van?!!!!
That would be awesome, we love the van
Y’all killed it!!!
@flylords huge fan of your channel and your content! Any gift cards still available for flies???
We will be Anoucing the winner of the gift card for people not in Colorado at the end of the week. If you are In Colorado, go give the shops a visit to find out!

Or maybe better not to burn that on UA-cam?
