No dry eyes with Rooster. What a steward for fly fishing and our natural resources! Admire he is all about the fish and not necessarily the buck. That's a hard decision for most people. Inspiring!
I gotta say I really appreciate the fact he talked abt how when most clients first meet the guides or employees they do usually get a bad wrap like he said and many people maybe can’t pay for a full guided trip that often and so how he says they try so hard to be kind and give their clients a great experience is pretty wholesome at least to me. Kudos to him and their staff!!!
Every campfire should come with a Rooster! Love this guy! So few people get to do a job that they love and there's no question Rooster loves what he does. Inspiring! Thanks Rooster.
This is a very cool series, thanks for putting it together and for the TU philanthropy. It’s a big deal. Also, thanks for being thoughtful about the places you’re highlighting and the places you’re not. That’s a pretty big deal around here anymore too.
For Rooster -- Thanks for taking a hit and cancelling those trips due to drought conditions....says a lot about your integrity and grit....I'm sure it wasn't easy but doing the right thing never is...
I was raised in Montana. Left for work and family. Now that I am retired, I hope to come move often. Maybe even move there. I have family up there, great place to come from and visit.

@@FlylordsMedia I spent 7 weeks on the road last summer on my motorcycle chasing trout in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Montana. I visited untold numbers of fly shops in every new town I fished my way through. Including many of the ones you guys have highlighted. This is a great series and I look fwd to future episodes.
Cock-a-doodle-doo, beautiful opening story. Cool small stream and gorgeous browns. If I ever make it to Montana I want Rooster as my guide. All these shops look awesome. Keep up the great work fellas.
development and pollution had resulted in the loss of rivers. nowadays, climate change is a major factor. like so, the continuation of fly shops near my is also hard due to online shopping and population decline. this video makes me feel dependable.
Jackson vs Bozeman. Epic battle of the hoity toity towns. And who has the most money is something both would be proud of. Apologies to Jackson Hole but maybe think of marketing your real estate to more tech companies who offer remote work with city wages.
