Very nice!!! I have an orange tree that came with the purchase of our home 16 years ago.
Did you know that if you suffer from insomnia you can make a tea out of the orange leaves and it puts you to sleep. Very soothing.

Hi California Gardener! I live near LAX airport, just got started on our home garden about 1.5 years ago. Terrible soul but working on it. I love to follow your monthly garden, and see your tips as well. I was wondering if you could please share the new seedlings that you are starting to sow during each month, maybe I can plant along with you.
Also, did you know that Costco sells aeroplanters online? My friend just bought one, and starting his Seeds there.
Love to see your kids enjoy the vegetables, my son loves vegetables that he picks. All the best to you. Good luck with your renovations. 🙏

🍊 Your tree looks so good! My orange tree lost all of its blossoms last year in May because we had 75 miles per hour winds. My grapefruit only produced about 15 fruit. Right now they are covered with new blossoms and I'm very hopeful for this November. Thank you for the fertilizer tips. I haven't used any on my fruit trees. What fertilizer would you recommend for citrus trees? Thank you! Sasha

🍊 I forgot to thank you for giving us the name of the verity :) The citrus trees were already there when we moved to the house so I had no idea of what the varieties were. And you are right, these are the sweetest oranges ever!

We live in northeast Texas, should they stay in pots or can they be planted outside? It is possible for it to freeze on occasion. It gets very hot in summer, but with each one we could cover for each episode!

Do you need to prune this tree. I have this Washington navel tree about at least 12 years. This is a short orange tree but right now it’s about 15-20 feet tall. Do I need to prune it?

Is it necessary to reduce the number of blossoms on a naval orange tree to prevent crowding of the fruit and having too much weight on the branch?

nices oranges, you have different varieties of oranges in your gardern all of them look healthy and prolific. I have purchased Chinese drawf orange plant already loaded with some small ripe oranges, but the taste of these orange is little sweet but more sour. very disappointing. will this plant produce sweet orange in next season??

I see your tree is against a fence. What direction is the fence facing? I would think you can't get full sun unless the tree is facing south with the fence running east/west.

Excellent videos - well done! I am planting a Cara Cara (in San Diego); it has been in the pot since purchase - about nine months ago. Just getting around to planting it. It did give us great fruit while it was in the pot. I am noticing some yellowing of the leaves..what does that mean? And what do I do about it. Thx again. M

Michael Fene I also have a Cara Cara in the Bay Area and from what you describe I think you need to add citrus fertilizer to the soil every month.
