do not forget to connect them by Ethernet if possible (just plug the wire into them without any settings after the indicators light up white.) then you will not have to put them in a pile, you will win in the coverage area, wi-fi speeds, and your Internet near each will be as fast as at the entrance to the first one.

Can you use these in addition to your router, to extend your signal or do you need to replace your router?

You need to connect them to your router. So it won’t replace it

Do these do any sort of DHCP? I have a PFSense FW doing my DHCP and basically being the central management of my home network with my VM hub in modem mode, i'd like to keep it that way.

Hi there, this is a superb video!
I bought the HALO H50G mesh wi-fi system and have a question
I have a sim modem that feed into the router that goes into a switch so
Modem-->Router-->Switch--> Wall socket around the house
So my house is fully wired and I want to set the Halo in order to be plugged in the wall socket I have in each of my three floors served by the switch
Can you please explain how can I do that?
Note, I do not really want to have a different WAN for the WI-FI but rather the same LAN so that I can use the printers already set on the Router LAN with any mobile device (laptop, etc)
Can you advice on how to do that?
    Many thanks

It does work with ethernet backhaul, I have this system and use ethernet backhaul and get great results throughout my house. I have three 5g home broadband and get over 500Mbs downloads and around 37Mbs upload speeds the same if I was just connected to the three router. I got the three pack system from Amazon for £74.99

Does this have possibility to use the first device as a repeater to the existing isp router? I mean to keep the already existing router as the dhcp server. I do not want to have 2 ip classes inside my home. I need this as my main router is also a vpn client so it is important that this router remains the dhcp server on the internal network. Thank you for the response and for the upload.

do you have packet loss trough LAN interface (latest firmware does not change anything - same packet loss between 2 and 4%)? i have 3 devices and they all have packet loss (normal ping when there is traffic 6-7megabytes per sec.) between router and computer connected with lan cables (mikrotik>15 meters cable>main halo>5meters cable>PC), but over wifi between 2 devices - all is ok - with same speed download + normal ping simultaneously
