Billy , thank you for doing this one! Britney has been a hero of mine from the start, the small town superstar, that goes on to slay the world.I remember so many times, just wanting that to be me. I never realized how alike we really were. No, I didn't have the hit records, mansions, and the awards. But the pain , the heartbreak, and the swift punch from life at middle age, yep got em. When this song came out I was 10, I remember because the day after it came out my Grandma was taken from this earth. This was the day a 10 year old grew up fast, I realized what pain is. I used this song, as my song. I would sit inthe shower and scream the lyrics as the water hit me so my Mom would not hear my tears,and falling apart. This was the year therapy started, oh and depression, and anxiety, I lost all my friends at school because they claimed I was bitter. I used this song to live, to keep myself from just ending it. Then the teenage years hit, parents fighting, separation, new schools, new state, still no friends as I wouldn't allow people close to me. I had Britney though, I had Lucky. Even now at 37 , as life has served me dish after dish of hurt and betrayal, I am partially paralyzed from a spinal cord wound. Some days walking is like taking to a high wire with no net, I fall often and with nerve damage it hurts worst then a reg fall. My muscles are my worst enemy, they seize and tighten with any weather change. I use a walker, and get glares from people who know nothing of my story. The looks a young person gets when they are disabled are evil, so judging, like I asked for this. But I still have Britney and Lucky. So I am so thankful to see this pop up in my watch section, I needed this today. I needed this to keep my mind off what I could do, and on what I can depwnd on.

Dang. I just watched this music video last week. I haven't watched the documentary yet. I have mixed feelings about it. I understand why Brittany was under conversatorship. Especially when she was mental health problems. Those type of problems don't go away. I hope that she is okay and she is doing better. I just hope that if her father is no longer her conservator. That she still makes good decisions and surround herself with good people.
She's a beautiful woman but with that said, I think we both have the same problem because sometimes the woman's songs get stuck in my head and it drives me bonkers...I even find myself breaking out in song without even realizing it! 🤦🏻♀
