My husband is 4 years recovering alcoholic but if I started my own business with alcohol he wouldn't have an issue unless I was drinking it in front of him all the time... I feel like she is too self-absorbed to care if it was affecting him. But at the same time he never untied himself from his ex-wife. And I get the whole raising their children and being a united front for the kids but there is so much more there on Affleck's end you can see it when he looks at Jennifer Garner I don't think he ever got over her. She was trying to relatable (reminding us of someone else) when she dressed in those khaki trousers, sun hat, plain blouse and flip flops, and took selfies out in a garden on July 4th. Never saw that look on her before. I mean, high heels with a bathing suit on a bumpy boat ride.

My husband is 4 years recovering alcoholic but if I started my own business with alcohol he wouldn't have an issue unless I was drinking it in front of him all the time... I feel like she is too self-absorbed to care if it was affecting him. But at the same time he never untied himself from his ex-wife. And I get the whole raising their children and being a united front for the kids but there is so much more there on Affleck's end you can see it when he looks at Jennifer Garner I don't think he ever got over her. Only my opinion though.
He didn't get over Garner, he said the way he felt during the marriage and how he made the mistake of drinking instead of s solution.
I hope that helps many people think that drinking makes things in a marriage worse because Ben said he didn't want to divorce.
I know drinking changes a person a lot and it's for the worst in most cases so it must have been affecting the kids and Garner was thinking about them and she didn't do anything wrong in divorcing him.
Ben just woke up to a sad reality when he had lost it all and worse that he was married to someone else after he was doing better and it's not the marriage he wanted.
Good thing he can walk away but sadly it hasn't been peaceful to him.
Ben needs to heal from all he's been through and his kids help him a lot now it looks that way
