    ...but this is only turbo normalizing.
    ie it only takes effect in high altitude.

    He said it had a supercharger. What??? Theres no such thing as a supercharger on a Lycoming 4 cylinder.

    Alejandro.....Maneuvering speed is the maximum speed at which you can move the flight controls to their limits without damaging the airplane. Typically, a pilot can and does fly faster than maneuvering speed, unless there is turbulence. In that case, a prudent pilot slows to maneuvering speed. So, in normal cruise and descent, there is no problem exceeding maneuvering speed, and in fact, it is normal and safe.

    good point Alejandro… my Cardinal 177B has a Do Not Exceed speed of 165 kts.

    40 grand I'll stick w my stock 177rg that gets 145k at 6.5/7.5 at 9.5gph money in the bank for those $100.00 hamburgers.

    $40.000.00 for a turbo??? You can buy a whole lot of gas for that money for many years of flying. Good luck in getting many takers.

    Aren't Cardinals supposed to have a maximum maneuvering speed of 135kt??? What happens at 177 kt??
