Great video. Love how you are transparent about the dust collection missing some. Also live that you answered my question about the table sizes in folded and open settings. Heading over to buy one now. Thanks my friend.
Great show Jeff. As always you are one of the best. Thank you and thanks to Woodpeckers for always coming up with great features on woodworking machinery. And the driving force behind this; is because of its owner, "Rich Hummel". A true genius! Oh indeed yes! Only two companies I know of come close to Woodpeckers: Incra and Leighjigs.
Just got my 36" fence 2 days ago and LOVE how less of a mess I now have after drilling. I already had the older table, so didn't order that. I wish I ordered a few of the adjustable stops, but those are kinda pricey at 30 bucks each. Maybe they will go on sale some time.
I received mine recently and the quality is great, with my ShopVac attached it does a fantastic job at sucking up dust. BUT, the micro adjusters are total crap. If they're adjusted in tight there's no play, but the moment you try to micro adjust them, the arm is no longer held solid and they deflect considerably to the side. For a precision nut like me (and I'd imagine others interested in spending money on this class of tools) it's unacceptable. For me the micro adjust on the flip stop is rendered inoperable and at $30 a piece they're borderline criminal. Also, the black T-track adjustment knobs that stick out above the fence fall right in line with my Jet drill press handles, so I have to fiddle fart around with that and remove 2 of the 3 arms, or I'm going to need to make arms with a shorter throw so they don't hit the knobs, or I'm going to have to shorten the t-tack knob.
Obviously, the further you are from the edge, the less effective it is going to be. But, even at max distance on a 14 or 15 inch drill press it gets almost all the fine particle dust and many of the chips. What isn't picked up can be swept toward the opening and it's gone.
Something to think about.....Not very compatible with a bench top DP. The drawer takes up all the vertical travel of the quill. I found out after I got mine last week. I did not think it through before purchase....Bummer, expensive mistake
What is the t-track spacing that the fence works with for those of us with homemade tables? I looked at product page and the manual and it does not state that dimension.
That's a beautiful drill press too
Thank you! I really enjoyed rebuilding it.

The micro adjust flip stops deflect heavily to the side when using the micro adjust feature. I do not recommend purchasing them.

What good is the suction in the fence if the hole is drilled further out into the workpiece?

When are they finally going to be shipped? I have been waiting for ever.
I too have been waiting for mine since the first of June. I sure could use it right now. Maybe Santa will deliver it for Christmas.
Shipping should start the first of December.
I have been waiting too - certainly looks to be worth the wait! Merry Christmas to me! 😀. Thnx Jeff for the demo ..
Their web site says Dec 31 (today is Nov 29)
Notice him blowing on the chips that were not sucked in....lol. Does make a big difference though.
Long shot - but is it possible to add a second shelf stacked on top of the first?
You would have to add a piece of plywood (or steel if you have that capability) between them, but it should work
Can the Drillnado dust collector adapter be used with the table? Great video.
I'm not real familiar with it, but I can't think of any reason it wouldn't.
Nice video, beautiful drill press, recent email indicates that they’ll be here before Dasher, Dancer, Prancer…
Tell me about the brush‽
Lie-Nielsen Dusting Brush
@@WoodpeckersLLC ...I knew I liked that brush! 😉
I’ll have to sneak it under the tree myself.
Super!!

The minimum is 13-1/2". The maximum is 15-1/2" The fence is slotted at both attachment points, so you can use any spacing between the max and min.
