Thank you Mike, Erin & kids, as well as Matt & Jeff & everyone else that had a part in the 30 in 30! After the 24 live stream be sure to take some special time JUST FOR YOU! You have earned it!
Running a ranch is hard enough without bringing all of us along! Your sacrifice is truly appreciated!

I love Jeff's sense of humor..."I had myself fooled until you opened your mouth!" We have enjoyed the 30 in 30 everyday. We are farmers in southwest Idaho. No animals tho. You, your wife, Jeff and Matt are hard workers. Love seeing the kids. We will continue to watch and learn from your Wyoming life each week. Take care!

With the scales. A suggestion. Enclose the cabels in a conduit that end in a weather proof box that will store the cabels until you need them. Keeps them safe and protected. Protect the investment you have made in this bit of kit.

Placed in earlier post. I'm a retired city boy sparky and never did electrical work on a farm but can remember reading ago how sensitive cattle are from stray voltage they can pick up on concrete that had electrical devices nearby. Firmly believe that he should have ran a #8 solid copper ground wire from reinforcing mesh before he poured concrete to at least two 8' ground rods at opposite corners. We had a tractor trailer outdoor scale that had load cells burn out few times a year until we installed ground rods and bonded the long 8' high cyclone fence and steel post. The underground circuit for this should be feed by a 15 or 20 amp combination AFCI circuit breaker that also provided ground fault protection ( 5 milliamp trip ). Have to install a heavy duty bubble outdoor receptacle cover to comply with the NEC.

The new gate system with the weighing capabilities will definitely make your job much easier and better management. As you've said, "You can't measure what you don't know." Now, you will be able to have accurate weights for all of the animals. The 30 in 30 has been great and I've really enjoyed them. This is my 29th posting with one more to go tomorrow for my 30 posts in 30 days. Thank you for all your time in videoing and editing, giving us the opportunity to join you on your ranch. Many thanks to Erin, the girls, Jeff and Matt for all their input and help too.

Hi there, Mike, Erin, Jeff, Matt, & all the Family! Have really enjoyed your unique concept for the ‘30 in 30’. Thought I’d throw out an idea on moving the Sorting Chute at 16:05. Raise the back up and slide a pipe under the chute sides and use a come-along or ratchet-strap to move it in place. Lift chute up and remove pipe. Possibly 2 pipes (one on each end) might make it easier. Good luck with your 24 hour Stream! Keep Safe & Healthy!!

Each time you roll out into the field, first place my eyes go is on the horizen. Nothing to obstruct the veiw of the sky above. Seeing all that expanse is just beautiful. When the sky is clear and blue I see that beauty, when the sky has a weather front coming across it, that too is beautiful. It's almost as good as when I roll up into Lincoln City Oregon and smell the Ocean and then strain for a view of the Ocean. Love it! I did not get to see Mandy again, I hope to catch a shot of her before she gets too big. Cows give off a serenity that nothing else can do in my view. That is one reason I love to watch these videos, not to mention all the other myriad of reasons. Thanks for the ride!!! Glenda

I dislocated my shoulder a couple of years ago here on my homestead......it was really bad..100% tear and 50%....I was a mess! I went to an orthopedic who treated me with shockwave therapy ...I also used one of my cows water tanks for hydrotherapy every night and took liposomal vit. C.....I’m about 98% back to a fully functioning shoulder! That livon Labs Vit C is the bomb!
I’ve really enjoyed your daily 30/30 videos. You’ve got a great crew! All the best!

I loved seeing the chickens and ducks just hanging around checking things out. I guess that is just part of living the farm life.
One thing that always amazes me is how far the cows travel. Being raised in the city, my experience with cows is seeing them grazing behind fences on the sides of the road as I traveled down the highways on the outskirts of town. The only time they seemed to hurry was if it was feeding time and a farmer in a pickup was headed their way. Seeing your cows spread themselves and their calves around so many acres of land just doesn’t fit in with my perceived picture of what cows do. Live and learn, I guess.

Just passing this along, “Work smarter not harder” something I learned at a young age watching some old timers moving some heavy display cases in my father’s store. Keep some pipe around, steel or schedule 40 PVC. Lift the object and stick the pipe beneath it. The heavy object will either roll on the pipe or slide across it. Either way you have reduced the friction and the force needed to move the object. That was the first thing that popped into my head as I watched you and Jeff struggle with that last section of the Aero Quip.
Thanks for the 30 in 30, I have enjoyed learning more about cattle ranching in NE Wyoming.

Well, I’ve found myself watching this when I climb into bed.
    It just been “hunky dunky.”
I had to laugh when you went through the different ways to say it.
We’ve had rain off and on, here in Pavillion, since early this morning.
Hopefully it’s done for a bit.
    Take care.
    Looking forward to tomorrow.
    Blessings ❤️🙏🏻😁😁
