Why does an old Senile persons views matter. Gold performance has been dismal in the last decade compared to Bitcoin, which has proved to be an apex predator of this generation and next. If adjusted to inflation the value of gold has not appraised as the market indicates.

Obviously Jim is being pressured to be "friendly" to investments in India. He has never been impressed by India's economy and will never be. He has become part of the road show to shore up India's image in the investment circles of the world. But today, investors are more savvy and knowledgable and have access to other sources of information about India's attraction or lack of for foreign investors.
Modi never did what he promises.
