Very nice video. Learned a lot of words. Those three girls talked so fast, especially the one who said used to do gymnastics. Couldn't understand a thing without the subtitles. Also the dude who kept saying 'zeg maar', I think you should just translate it the way teens speak in English, putting "like" in between words. Thanks, keep up the great work.

Having studied both English and Deutsch, and with a bit of alcohol in the brain, Dutch seems quite understandable without actually learning it.

Oh, as someone who knows German and the very basics of Dutch, the accent/dialect of this city was harder than the previous ones. It seems they skip many of the consonant sounds
They speak normal Dutch in the video. Maybe you are used more to the Dutch sound of the border region. People there usually have a southern accent, which is mostly more understandable for Germans.
The truth is simply that Dutch is actually not that easy. I am half Dutch and half German and I always wonder how German people are so confident about understanding it. The pronounciation is a lot different, the grammar too and there are many words that differ. Its probably based on the similar sound.
@@Falquiboy I mean, I'm German and I can understand it really well without ever studying it. But I also speak low German, so that's probably why :)
Dutch is not that so hard to learn than other languages like arabic ,korean , chinese or russian , i think 😁😏
If you know and good in english probably you can do it in dutch , but the accents is really hard to acquire esp if you begin learning during ur late 30 or older, .

Ik heb het gevoel dat limburgs tussen nederlands en duits is. Ik heb maal de mensen geluisterd de limburgs gespraakt hebben en ik heb gedenkt dat het switzerdütsch of een andere dialect was. Ik ben duitser.
The pronunciation sounds French but the words sound German. Really like the language nevertheless and would like to visit one day
haha French pronunciation? Maybe sometimes but for the most part I wouldn't say that 😀 more like English to me.
