- I am opening two 1st/First Off The Line (FOTL) hobby boxes of 2022/23 Panini Flux NBA Basketball for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/product review! Hobby boxes have an SRP of $200 and resell in the same range (FOTL boxes resell in the mid $300 range). Every box contains 10 5-card packs (12 box cases). Expect 1 autograph and 20 inserts/parallels per box. FOTL boxes contain an exclusive Scope parallel (Purple /17 or Gold /8). These boxes come with chances at pulling colorful space-themed parallels of the top rookies from the 2022 NBA Draft class (Supernova, Sunrise, Moonlight, Solar Eclipse, Lunar Eclipse), ultra-rare SSP "Full Capacity" inserts, 1/1 Gold Vinyl parallels, SSP parallels (Gold & Green), Titan inserts, autos of the NBA's top rookies/stars/HOFers from multiple sets (Best of the Best, Ultra Violet, Equinox), rookies of Paolo Banchero, Jalen Williams, Bennedict Mathurin, Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith Jr., Keegan Murray, & Jaden Ivey, and more! You can get a box for yourself from your local sports card hobby shops and online retailers/sellers. Overall, I would rate this product a 5/10 (hobby is a 3.25). Flux has been amazing to me. Two 25 dollar mega boxes both hits. One #d to ten rookie and one auto 2 boxes! Dont cry because you didnt hit something. These cards are beautiful btw.🤣

btw seen a couple of breaks with double FOTL bonuses. In all instances double golds /8.
Flux is such an interesting product. The base cards are Hall of Fame terrible and the inserts are always super juicy. The Sphere inserts from a couple of years back, Rookie Influx (numbered), Fluid, etc. are all bangers. But the base, man, those are babies are rough.

Please helpe understand why most of those cards are in the hit stack. Rookies and numbered cards are hits even if they are not top players. The rest, please explain.

In my humble opinion i think the SET actually looks really nice. Only negative i have is the encased card and the atmosphere cards.
I opened a couple flux boxes. But I don’t really know what’s valuable and what’s not.
Tbh i am happy. I love the unique look And of Courier the shimmy shine :)) i would love the price tag to be lower but that is the same for all panini products..

Got 2 blasters and it was straight trash and the base looks crap. I was excited because the flux football i got in chronicles look real good...i spent 100.00 and probably got 5.00 of cards if im lucky

i dont mind the design, but i hate the frosty-coated look on the players. really doesnt look good to me. also, HOW did they bring flux back but they drop absolute, which i really like??
also, the auto doesnt look like its guaranteed - its an "on average" box. the fotl bonus should be in there though.
Any of the silver's are parallels for this product. And my opinion look amazing, but the base just doesn't do it.

Sorry, product colors remind me of the 1960'50 flat paint decor in apts back in NYC. I am not feeling it. The green reminds me of the Exorcist movie and I'm sure you know why
I have a psa 10 rookie maxey but it’s not worth much because it’s flux😐
It's OK let the haters hate. Then when the set gets discontinued and Maxey retires the card will be worth even more to those looking for something unique when so many cards are overprinted. I personally like the flux design. I think it's unique. More interesting than the basic ass prizm flagship with square border around it and some dimples

I never liked the design of Flux. Wish it was Hoops Premium they brought back or continued Illusions.
Court Kings had the best box toppers during their early releases, but any are appreciated though... it sucks Panini left it out of Flux!

I like some of the inserts in this set but this should just stay in chronicles. If they bring any set back I would like to see premium Hoops return with a normal hobby release and not whatever it was the first time.

not as bad as when it was all yellow... but why dont the colors correlate to the teams?? It's just random base of different colors? I can remember opening some of this... and it is the weakest shit ever... it's like if a scammer went thru every card before packaging and kept back anything worth more than a couple bucks.. .that's what it feels like opening flux imo
