We shoot coyotes on sight here. My mixed feelings where about the music, that's all. And no one likes seeing food wasted, Yes a lot of people hunt these hogs for food, not a lot of people hunt rats for food, so there is a difference. but it is what it is, the birds and worms will eat good. Not bitching, but wouldn't those coyotes help with the hog control? Where I live the mountain lions and coyotes do a pretty good job of keeping the hogs at a level where they don't do too much harm.

You mentioned hunting with bows. That's done too, as well as pistol and rifle hunting.
In fact the video you saw was probably done on a ranch that the owner paid them to come do this. On top of that they charge the guys doing the shooting for privilege of doing so.

A lot of these operations have food bank connections and routinely give hundreds of pounds of pork to the needy and homeless monthly. we forget that human carelessness created this problem.
