Love Meg’s visits to Dan’s yard. Hope they do lots more content in the future. He pushes her out of her comfort zone and Meg always brings it. Great banter with the very talented Frenchman! And gorgeous competition horses too 🙌🏻
Hi Meg (sorry for the grammatical errors but I'm Italian ) Just for information the chestnut horse was bred by Sechi Gian Paolo, and in Italy he jumped 140 with Paolo Adorno. I hope I have satisfied your curiosity. I love your videos ❤
When your mouth is about to say "no", you need to train it to say "yes" instead Meg 😂. You're more than capable of jumping at international level over bigger fences on bigger horses ❤
Meg, what a dream it is you get to feature these absolute legends, much less ride alongside them! Amazing riding by both yourself and Dan! Loving vlogmas (as always)!
I'm with Dan, on the wall issue, Meg. They aren't as bad as they look. That bay you were on (Paul?) looked amazing to ride! Beautiful mover, too. You rode him really well! And Major - what can I say? The type of gaits I always loved. Springy, but not jolting. Definitely my type of horse!
Love Dan he gives some great exercise ideas and such an important message that’s it’s not always about jumping huge but having fun and working on technique 😊
I forgot how much I loved Dan's last video. Please keep us updated on how he did and consider having him be a more frequent guest. Good luck in London!~
MEG thank you for sharing your time at the different yard's . Dan thank you for sharing your time . And good luck for London horse show . Thank you for sharing your day .👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😄❤❤❤
Literally two seconds into the video and you've got me cackling already with the cheeky mistake fixing xD God hes a beautiful big boy, reminds me of Jesse Drents Chase a little.
I really enjoy seeing you on some of these amazing riders, horses. You do way better than you give yourself credit for. I also think they help boost your confidence as well. Super all round.
Just love this horse! I'm a devote Icelandic horse rider, but something about these big ones I just love. Must say I am a big fan of your videos 😄 in particular, when you include lessons, so much to learn by watching.
It’s so amazing that you’ve had Wilma for a year or almost a year now, I remember the first video you made about horse shopping in Ireland. Oh how time flies ❤
I vote yes to a wall tackle 👏 💪 😅 Also awesome jumping Meg! Look forward to seeing you use this in your daily routine especially for Wilma ❤ Dan's an awesome trainer 😀
I loved this. It is so nice that these are little fences do exactly what bigger fences do. It is perfect. It really isn't the size it's the learning how to do it! How great! I also love the foam poles! I always hate rattling around after hitting a pole. I feel like it irritates the horses and I know it irritates me!
YESSS I'm so excited for this I hope Dan can be a part of more video's please let him jump Wilma again he's fantastic!! You know what a great idea would be is a chase me Charlie with Dan, Simon and Cam I would love to see that! It would be laugh please could we have something like that!! I'm here for it don't know how hard it would be I'm sure there all busy but if anyone can make it happen it's you. Merry Christmas from my Tini Herd to yours 🎄🐴
I love watching Dan, he use to ride my horse before I got her, for her previous owner so it so interesting to see what he potentially did with her. Plus his new yard is down the road from me
You are so lucky Meg!! And you are an amazing rider you have definitely improved! I think that you should teach hobbit how to jump on Wilma I really want to see how it goes! Love all of your vlogmas videos love you Meg! 🤍
For anyone considering Yfood - do it. It’s brilliant! I have been using the chocolate vegan powdered stuff for around 2 years now (I think I was influenced by Meg in a previous vlogmas lol) and it is the best thing ever. My fave thing to do with it is mix it with coconut milk, frozen bananas, and a big dollop of peanut butter; and then blend it all into a smoothie. I swear it is like drinking ice cream for breakfast. Best thing ever! (And it keeps me full for hours and hours)
@ I love the berry one I spilt it in my hat but I think it was good luck because I’m my first class it was terrible but then in my second on I came 6th😍😍
Sorry I was a bit late to answering there, my childhood miniature Shetland pony died, I’m fine tho but I’ve watched this video!!! Love u Meg hope ur doing well 💙💙
Loved the video!! Also, just so you know, there’s a typo in the caption; it should be “lets” not “let’s”. Sorry I know I’m annoying just wanted to let you know😂
23:58 - Oh my god I just had flashbacks to my first jumping clinic with a professional showjumper. I was about 14, I should have been in with the kids, but the under 16's sessions were overbooked. On the day, thankfully I was riding a horse I'd ridden a lot and was used to, but unlike the basics that the otheres were doing, I think they worked on a combination and grid in the first session and they did bounces and working on holding impulsion through the bounces in the second. Oh no, my instructors were like 'Oh.... she'll be fine stick her in with the adults' XD jesus christ I'd been riding for maybe 2 years at that point and I was NOT ready. In the first lesson I fell off after the horse dumped me in front of a grid; Difference was unlike the kids session, you had to ride deep into your corner because the first jump was at the first marker out of the corner. The second session I fell off again, admittedly the pro showjumper said it wasn't my fault and I'd ridden it right, but we started off building up with 2 jumps on a 20 m circle.... then he set up another 3, so you had to jump 4 jumps on the circle, straighten up, jump INTO a corner, jump another in the middle of the short side and then jump out of the corner. My poor teenage baby brain was not ready for that kind of difficulty spike. I managed, thanks to the horse actually being good at jumping. She was just having an off day along with the rest of the big horses. I wish I could have done the many bounces instead.
Meg, can you do a vlog on measuring horses. Officially measure your horses. Most people are surprised what their horse's actual height is. Have a guess then meaure with a stick on level ground.
Love Meg’s visits to Dan’s yard. Hope they do lots more content in the future. He pushes her out of her comfort zone and Meg always brings it. Great banter with the very talented Frenchman! And gorgeous competition horses too 🙌🏻

I feel so lucky to watch this!! It’s like a clinic!
I call the clock exercise the circle of death and it's nice to see that even people as good as Dan Delsart find it tricky! Loved the vlog!
My trainer calls it the dungeon circle haha!
When your mouth is about to say "no", you need to train it to say "yes" instead Meg 😂. You're more than capable of jumping at international level over bigger fences on bigger horses ❤
