i seen Sebastian on his solo stint about 6 years ago ata bar near Green Bay,Wi and he couldve just banked it in but gave his all on every song and it was the best performance i ever seen from him and i seen him 15 times over the years hes got one of the best rock voices of all time.
skid fuckin row.saw them at alpine valley twice and they fuckin rocked.thanks for posting man brings back so many.this was the song that was being played during the famous sod fight wow nothing like it ever
Sounds like his voice had had it for the night. I guess touring, traveling to other countries, singing those Slave songs one after another night after night will do that to ya. Didn't give anything less than his all despite that, though. The show must go on. I don't think he ever phones it in, and that's why I love him. Baz has heart!
I wish they didn't rush it but still one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The intro is cool. Bas is in my top five fav singers with Maynard James Keenen, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley and Eddie Vedder.
Brand new CD from Baz comes out in Oct.2007! MRV CEO Jack Ponti states: "Sebastian Bach has proven himself to be a true multi media star of music, stage and television. He has delivered a record of incredible depth and intensity that displays his growth as an artist. We look forward with eager anticipation to this journey together and are honoured to be part of it." Baz is now with EMI one of the 4 biggest Record Company's in the world.....
William Hein Senior Vice President/General Manager Caroline Music Group/EMI adds: "Sebastian Bach has recorded a fantastic new album and Caroline Music is thrilled to be working with Merovingian on its release. Sebastian is the real deal and "Angel Down" will be the rock comeback story of the year."
You and I together in our lives Sacred ties would never fray Then why can't I let myself tell lies And watch you die every day I think back to the times When dreams were what mattered Tough talking youth naivete You said you never let me down But the horse stampedes and rages In the name of desperation
You're right....thats the real deal singing up there. I just love his voice on the studio versions....he could do some amazing things, but I always felt like some of these singers are just giving us a second hand effort up there sometimes. But, you're right, the performance was great....Skid Row as usual....ol' Sebass was having a rough run on this song though.
Baz is one of the gods of rock vocals...he's got a great voice performance, just like Bruce Dickinson. However, I can't really know who of them is the better one, but i'm pretty sure they both are the best on the rock history...(for me)...Fucking long live Heavy Metal !!!
I hope Sebastian will return as the singer of Skid Row. What is Skid Row without Sebeastian? Well, nothing...at least not in Europe. (I can`t speak for the states...). They are opening for Poison now a days. But, Sebastian has a real good voice and great performance skills. A real showman!!
Here's something else to consider; we're listening to this song on a crappy resolution youtube video. I bet it sounded fucking awesome AT the show. I've been to many concerts and while you're there it sounds great. Listen to a playback and maybe not so much so. What counts is what you get when you're there, not what you might hear in a video 20 years later.
age has taken its toll on his voice, but he's still got similar range as before but they're starting to sound thinner (head voice changed to chest voice for example). Still a great band and song :)
Sebastian Bach is the best singer in Music! Check out 2005's Frame Shift 2 an Absence of Empathy! Be on the look out for him & Gn'R on tour this Year & next,Sebastians next CD will be called ANGEL DOWN & it's gonna Kick Ass!
@blmeren When you tour live across the world like bands like this for so long... you jump on the stage and we will tell you how great you sound. Not every gig is a A+, there are many variables to take in to account man. So get in his league before you call his singing shit basically.
Scotti & Snake are both good,Scotti dose not play fast solo,He him self said Dave is better at that. Scotti think of his solos as a whistle,& Sebastian Bach is a great singer & an even Better Frontman. Try Running non stop & singing for an hour & 1/2 & see if you still have the same breath.
Sou obrigado a concordar.
another song like i remember you that was made great but not able to do live...the vocals are all over each other and as much as i like sab...hes not in his own league when he hits live versus studio.
Skid Row fan here, but I'm I the only one to notice the vocals are pretty much crap...call him a legend if you want, thats fine...but this performance was not good, sorry.
he may be the best singer in the world.. but live.. he sucks.. all he does is scream here.. scream there.. looks like he cannot hear himself while singing.. anyway.. one of my favs songs
One of my favorite songs of Skid Row!!Damn!!!So much memories comes out inf my brain!!!

THe best voice of the whole Hard Rock movement singing the saddest song of the entire Rock genre.
Sounds like his voice had had it for the night. I guess touring, traveling to other countries, singing those Slave songs one after another night after night will do that to ya. under rated legends!
I wish they didn't rush it but still one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The intro is cool.

That's right!!! You tell 'em brother!
Oh!My God!!Sebastian is great!!!
Simplesmente o melhor vocalista de rock na face da terra... pode colocar qualquer outro ao lado... não é padre não.. ele canta mto mesmo...
Certainly one of the most electrifying performers of any decade, Sebastian Bach is set to release "Angel Down" on November 20 2007

Saw Sebastian live with Guns N Roses.
He put on an awesome show.

WOW this is soo awesome, great just to hear vox and guitar reminded me of Jeff Buckley
Bach is a very, very talented singer
I hope Sebastian will return as the singer of Skid Row. What is Skid Row without Sebeastian? Well, nothing...at least not in Europe. (I can`t speak for the states...). They are opening for Poison now a days. But, Sebastian has a real good voice and great performance skills. A real showman!!

age has taken its toll on his voice, but he's still got similar range as before but they're starting to sound thinner (head voice changed to chest voice for example).

Anyone know where i can find guitar tabs for the intro stuff that Snake was playing?
grande banda!! pena que e o cara tem uma excelente voz pena que saiu do skid row
The only one I have not heard is there version of Back in the sadel.
@blmeren When you tour live across the world like bands like this for so long... you jump on the stage and we will tell you how great you sound. Not every gig is a A+, there are many variables to take in to account man. So get in his league before you call his singing shit basically.
Snake is Dave Sabo :D
sounds like he's straining to take a crap at the beginning - "honey it's time to drop the kids at the pool."
sorry man its suppose to be 4:31. Cheers...
this is sebastian
sebastien doesn't suck live...he just used to run out of breath hard core
It has nothing at 4:13........
???
Scotti & Snake are both good,Scotti dose not play fast
solo,He him self said Dave is better at that. Scotti
think of his solos as a whistle,& Sebastian Bach is a great singer & an even Better Frontman. Try Running non stop & singing for an hour & 1/2 & see if you still have the same breath.
Ai ta melhor que no hollywood rock,no brasil adoro skid row,mas sebastian bach,da umas gatiada feia no vocal ao vivo.

GOD I can only hope this is correct.
Bach sounds exhausted
o yea u gotta see Bach now days jus him n his new band skid row was nothing without Bach athough sad to say for them
Sebastian Bach parece com a Shakira no clipe wherever =)
and you can?
whtf??? comparing Dio with Sebastian its not appropiate, they have different voices...i cant understand ThoriumRex
Fucken awesome song! wicked intro! but what the hell is wrong with seb's vocals?
Belive it or not, but the only one doing justice to the song is Sebastian Bach!.
e pensa que tem gente que gosta de rbd
GREAT song, but I thought the intro was lame.
I LOVE all skid row studio ALBUMS that feature Baz on vocals but i have to say i don't enjoy their live efforts too much... :I
Bach is an awesome rock singer, and I love skid row, but to be perfectly honest he doesn't perform as well live. He doesn't do falsetto also.
Zakk Wylde is a GREAT GUITARIST IMO
He has a good Voice but is not even in the same league as Sebastian Bach when it comes to singing.
Always knew that Scotti Hill was much better than Snake Sabo and Bach voice is a shame, he has problems breathing.
exactly. Dave M is Better
Skid Row fan here, but I'm I the only one to notice the vocals are pretty much crap...call him a legend if you want, thats fine...but this performance was not good, sorry.
he may be the best singer in the world.. but live.. he sucks.. all he does is scream here.. scream there.. looks like he cannot hear himself while singing.. anyway.. one of my favs songs
lol they don't know how to make an intro for this fuckin music.. so sad...
that's your opinion. in my opinion he's neither a good guitarist, nor a good singer... lacks creativity in both aspects.
