Piper's Purpose on my Instagram: AlyonaCreates I put a picture up of leaves painted in these greens + Naphthamide Maroon. And that’s tomorrow’s tutorial! :) x
Excellent demo...such a strong pigment-it looks totally different in hue on the Blick swatch. Love yours more, but have to wonder which is actually what comes in the mail! If you stand back and look at your first (reds/oranges) samples, the Side-by-side is stunning and inspiring. Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍
wondering which is stronger that maroon or qor paints. yeah ok i'm gonna have to get me some of that, i am kinda belligerent like that paint so i can relate. lol have a great week.
PO71, it goes by many names. Schmincke calls theirs Transparent Orange (which is the one she used), Daniel Smith & Qor call it Transparent Pyrrol Orange, Rembrandt calls it Pyrrol Orange, MaimeriBlu calls it Orange Pyrrolo, Lukas calls it Permanent Orange, etc.
How does this color compare against perylene maroon?
Gorgeous mixes! Especially with the greens. What fun effects they could produce in a floral painting. I also love the mix with shell pink.
