This temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the revered 108 Divya Desams. Thirukachi Nambi, a true devotee of Lord Varadaraja, was in the temple when the priests offered Shakkarai Pongal as a sacred food offering. Suddenly, a divine voice from above requested everyone to exit the temple, leaving only Thirukachi Nambi alone in the temple, Lord Varadaraja requested Nambi to hand-feed him. After consuming all the Pongal, when the priests returned, they found an empty vessel and traces of Pongal on the hand of Thirukachi Nambi
Mistakenly, they accused Nambi of eating the offering, tarnishing his reputation. Later that night, Lord Varadaraja visited a devotee's dream, instructing him to prepare a thousand vessels of Pongal, and said only Nambi should remain in the temple after the offering. After fulfilling the request, the priests found all the vessels empty when they returned. They concluded that it was impossible for Nambi to consume such a massive quantity, realizing that he must have genuinely fed Lord Varadaraja
It's impossible to imagine that how many temples and such sites have been destroyed in Northern plains, Plateau region. But I believe in you, Lord that your essence will revive again. 🥺

But the positive thing is today we have atleast built new temples on 90% of the ancient sites which previously had temples on them .... Now we have to just wait for thr the energies to again start collecting at that place

Everyday thirukachigal visits varada temple at kanchi . One day Thirukachi nambigal could not see varadaraja Swamy at kanchipuram due to his illness (health issues). During sunset varada went to poovirundavalli (Poonamalle) to see his beloved devotee thirukachi nambigal and nambi went to vaigunda with varada❤

@@divine_rudeus Like how the spelling of Vaikuntha (As originally in Sanskrit) was spelt Vaikunth in Hindi and "Vaikuntham/Vaigundam(whichever way as long as it sounds similar) so is it in Tamil (Tamizh). I see nothing wrong in it, but don't prefer the Hindi way, as my ears prefers complete pronunciation of syllables, in Hindi, the last syllable will always be shortened half, like "Shiva/Sivā" become "Shiv". I don't know, maybe just personal preference.
