HM Amit Shah holds high-level meet to review Manipur security situation, top officials in attendance

- Days after formation of Modi 3.0 govt, Union Home Minister Amit Shah swung into action and held high-level review meeting on Manipur violence. The high-level meet was held at Ministry of Home Affairs on June 17 to review the security situation in Manipur. The meet was attended by Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, IB Chief Tapan Deka, COAS General Manoj Pande, Manipur DGP Rajiv Singh and other officials. The key meet on Manipur comes days after fresh violence was reported in northeastern state when CM’s convoy was allegedly attacked. Meanwhile, on June 16, Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey met HM Amit Shah in Delhi over the situation in the state. The northeastern state has been witnessing ethnic violence since May last year following clashes during a rally. The rally was organised by All Tribals Students Union to protest against the demand for the inclusion of the Meitei community in ST category.

why did they wait till elections? if they hadn't they would have won 2 seats in manipur and 1 seat in nagaland. instead this is what we get? shameless!
bjp needs to get out of their poverty mindset. most of like their idea of making everyone animist with their diversity in the northeast and even in mainland india. but their approach is always survival based and never thriving based. poor people mindset.
this should have been done one year ago. this should have been done regardless of them winning votes or not. if they did the people justice then we should have seen the returning to power. since they didn't they are fools. i hope peace returns and they issue a formal apology for the crisis and their delay in action.
as a bjp supporter i am asking this of them.

why do you hope for it? you want manipuris to keep dying> you want the industrialization work to stop in the state? you want your people to stay in poverty? you want them to continue being drugs and gun dealers? no schools, no entrepreneurship, no thinktanks, no houses being industrially built? these were all brought in by the bjp. we will see action, while people like you against prosperity will always oppose.
