I saw them at their last LA show and their manager tossed a boatload of squeaky toys into the crowd. It was a totally badass way to end the show. I love this band.
[Verse 1] You can have it I don’t want that shit It’s just a bad memory of what I did Well you can have it I don’t want that shit It’s just a bad memory of what I [Pre-Chorus] Well I'm gonna go far Cause I’ve got a car Well you think you took it all We dunno who you think are? Cause you can have it I don’t want that shit It’s just a bad, bad, a bad memory Of what I what I did [Chorus] No more sorries Wipe it all clean, take it off me Well, no more sorries Wipe it all clean, take it off me, yeah Don’t know where you been I’m alone again And I like it, I like it I'm ready to begin Got my second spin And I like it, I like it [Pre-Chorus] Well I’m gonna go far Cause I’m wild at heart And you think you took it all We dunno who you think you are? Cause you can have it I don’t need that shit It’s just a bad, bad, a bad memory Of what I what I did [Chorus] No more sorries Wipe it all clean, take it off me Well, no more sorries Wipe it all clean, take it off me Don’t know where you been I’m alone again And I like it, and I like it I'm ready to begin Got my second spin And I like it, I like it No more sorries Wipe it all clean, take it off me Well, no more sorries Wipe it all clean, take it off me Don’t know where you been I’m alone again And I like it, and I like it I'm ready to begin Got my second spin And I like it, I like it You can have it I don’t want that shit It’s just a bad memory of what I did Well you can have it I don’t want that shit It’s just a bad memory of what I did
The Shitty thing is, I bought the ticket to see them at the Teragram Ballroom....AND I HAD TO WORK THAT DAY! Didn't even go. I'll catch yall again when you're in LA.
sunsofguns I still will never understand why people have to comment below a comment. Comment your OWN comment if you enjoyed it. this isn't an attack on them, and you aren't their defenders. bye
& I'm the defensive one... I liked it but wasn't feeling the need to speak, but your comment was perfect to play off of, which I did. To recognize that it's a play off someone else's comment, the context should be nearby. (Look at Grim Dark's comment. Who was that for? What a dumbass.) For the record, I will never understand why people have to comment anything, positive or negative, below a video. Somehow I never feel compelled to give my opinion on something just give it...not unless I have something at least slightly interesting or funny to say, or I'm responding to someone else (hopefully interestingly or funnily). I've never even bothered to hit one of those up/down thumbs on a video before. What's in it for me? You must know it's pretty ridiculous to write things on what amounts to a message board and never expect to hear a peep back, especially if it's an attack (it is debatable whether what you said constitutes an attack). The comment section is engineered to support social dialogue, as if each thought thunk is the spark of a new conversation; there's reply buttons and new-message prompts; and, y'know, human nature and all that. Hope that helps. Hang loose now.
Oh, here's a fun and relevant anecdote: One recent comment of mine was a reversal of this situation, in that I was the antagonist instead of the "defender." First, I was listening to Weezer's Only In Dreams. Next, I noticed the bassline was similar to the one on the Pixies' I Bleed. This isn't necessarily something I needed to share, although it does meet my commenting requirement of being slightly interesting (because it's another hint of the Pixies' impression on Weezer, another of them being Weezer's cover of Velouria, which I had to swear off for life after a sweaty, panicked episode in which I realized it was becoming the default version in my head whenever I would start humming Velouria). But then I saw a comment in Only In Dreams' comment section about how good the bassline was, and once again I found I could play off of the comment perfectly while working in my own opinion. And so again I did. And again I bid you hang loose.
To act crazy and performatic in an organic way is so hard, i love these girls, it's just simple fun.
... If you're acting

My favorite song for two weeks now.
[Verse 1]
You can have it
I don’t want that shit
It’s just a bad memory of what I did
Well you can have it
I don’t want that shit
It’s just a bad memory of what I
[Pre-Chorus]
Well I'm gonna go far
Cause I’ve got a car
Well you think you took it all
We dunno who you think are?
Cause you can have it
I don’t want that shit
It’s just a bad, bad, a bad memory
Of what I what I did
[Chorus]
No more sorries
Wipe it all clean, take it off me
Well, no more sorries
Wipe it all clean, take it off me, yeah
Don’t know where you been
I’m alone again
And I like it, I like it
I'm ready to begin
Got my second spin
And I like it, I like it
[Pre-Chorus]
Well I’m gonna go far
Cause I’m wild at heart
And you think you took it all
We dunno who you think you are?
Cause you can have it
I don’t need that shit
It’s just a bad, bad, a bad memory
Of what I what I did
[Chorus]
No more sorries
Wipe it all clean, take it off me
Well, no more sorries
Wipe it all clean, take it off me
Don’t know where you been
I’m alone again
And I like it, and I like it
I'm ready to begin
Got my second spin
And I like it, I like it
No more sorries
Wipe it all clean, take it off me
Well, no more sorries
Wipe it all clean, take it off me
Don’t know where you been
I’m alone again
And I like it, and I like it
I'm ready to begin
Got my second spin
And I like it, I like it
You can have it
I don’t want that shit
It’s just a bad memory of what I did
Well you can have it
I don’t want that shit
It’s just a bad memory of what I did
