How cute is that?? Incredibly adorable spooder. They are amazing. First one I ever saw was Rob C's and he had it swimming. That's amazing. That leaf scared the crap out of me to, lol. Great rehouse Shanti. Tyfs God bless you
Can’t wait to rehouse mine. I think mine is about the same size maybe a little smaller. I got it as a freebie from arachnoiden. I haven’t seen it since I got it because it immediately burrowed and made a network of tunnels underneath the substrate. 😂
@@TarantulaswithShanti well I’m pretty new to the whole T hobby I was planning on getting a M balfouri or a h gigas but since their burrowing Ts I don’t think my coco fiber will be moist enough to keep its burrow sturdy. So what I’m asking is how do I keep this substrate moist enough for it. Also are these good communal Ts
@@chillout8320 M. balfouri are the best communal species imho. As far as moist coco fiber is concerned, the M. balfouri prefer a bit dry. Best if you find a centerpiece for your terrarium, like a gnarly piece of spiderwood, and bury it partially. The tarantulas will dig and contruct a burrow using this for anchor points, even reaching below the structure deep into the substrate. You can moisten one corner of the terrarium, but not too moist to where mold grows.
@Eggnoodlesandketchup3 having one myself. They do require a very moist enclosure. As a species that has been known to swim and catch fish they live close by to bodies of water. You can have a moist environment without it being a swamp.
@@th3s3rv37 theyve been known to swim but mine never has even when given the opportunity. They cant all live near river banks and surely not all of where they come from in africa is wet/damp. Ive seen some vids on youtube where some are kept in permanently wet conditions. Cant help but feel its to satisfy the keepers interest rather than to benefit the spider.
@Eggnoodlesandketchup3 tropical rainforest are naturally very moist on the floor. And being a fossorial species they do burrow to find the right humidity. I do hear you though, I gave mine plenty of dirt 70% of the enclosure is just dirt mixed with moss. But I really dislike using CocoFibre. For me it just doesn't do what I need it to and the mould growth on them is horrendous. Off topic. Which species do you keep.

Thank you, Debbie. The relaxed threat pose was pretty cute, huh?

I predict I'll see less of this one after this rehouse. The cube was small enough that I could see into the tunnels.
@@TarantulaswithShanti cool Rehouse Tarantulas with Shanti :)
@@exoticseightlegsuk Thank you!
beautiful spider and awesome new home.
Thank you!
I wish I could find mine as the 1 1/2 inch sling I had disappeared in November and still not found it but seems like less bugs around the place
Hmmmm...maybe it will turn up. Be ready. Haha!
@@TarantulaswithShanti I hope so
Great rehouse
Many thanks!

Easy to take care of?
Yes. A no-see-um.
@@TarantulaswithShanti can you answer a few questions of mine it would be highly appreciated
@@chillout8320 Of course. Will do my best.

Don’t they swim, also can’t you put them in groups
There's some controversy about this.
Beautiful spider LOL butt fingers
Looks to dry to me.
Id prob just mist the enclosure or overfill the waterbowl. Its completely unnecessary to keep this species in a swampy enclosure.

@@th3s3rv37 not many. Other than this species, just a red knee and a texas brown. Hoping to get a goliath at some point.
