I had a weird Airbnb experience myself. When me and my ma were search for a place to stay in Tampa we found cute houses though Airbnb and selected the one that we thought was the best based on the pictures. When we got there we noticed the house wasn’t like the pictures at all. Part of the fence was broken, part of the house had a hole in the front entry, the hot tub having a lot of electric wired around it and was on, the lighting of the house and the backyard being connected to another house. Me and my ma did not feel safe so we left the house called Airbnb for a refund we managed to get half of what she paid for and went to a hotel with a much better location. Since then I never trusted Airbnb places again.
My friend had that kind of experience in Europe. Sometimes immigrants just invade abandoned places and start renting it, but since they dont have money to reform the place the houses have stuff like that. And by the looks and angles from photos you cant see how bad some parts are
This is how “true horror stories” type videos on UA-cam should be conducted. Evidence based, and given to us plainly. Not just trying to tell the story in a creepy/unique voice. I’m looking at you Chills.
Y'know this story in specific is scarier to me because my family always rents houses in some far-off city (sometimes isolated up a mountain or in a forest) for Christmas. Not only are the houses they pick usually isolated in weird places that are miles away from the closest civilization (because some family members are in Nora's situation and need someplace cheaper), but the caretakers also live under the house. If I remember correctly, they often have this off-limits shack in the basement where they stay. All the owners are either in another city or, hell, live in another country entirely. Sometimes these caretakers have families of their own and their kids wander in and out of the house. Sometimes the caretakers themselves casually walk in for maintenance, just like Rick. I don't like the fact at all that there's so many red flags that check off every list of Episode 5; caretakers in the basement, freely walking around without anybody knowing (for 'maintenance'), and that the house is isolated, so nobody will hear you scream and you don't have anywhere near to call for help. Thankfully, nothing bad happened to us for the past 5 years that we've been doing this every season. I guess it also helps that we're a big family, so trying to do something suspicious without getting caught would be hard since our whole family's spread across the whole property; some drinking outside, kids playing in the pool, others watching TV, etc. Still scary though.
I actually found the reddit story which inspired carson house, first half of the game is word to word same as the reddit story but the does not have grocery shopping or the crazy ex thing at all
No one really noticed how the house is stocked, as if someone already lives in it? I don't think any cabin provides you clothes and stuff you already see in the parts of the house.
Bro u can cleary see the hiker hitting the door of the basement when u refused to come inside the house you can see him from the window of living room hitting the basement door and i m sure that fake rick killed that hiker and we heard the scream while we were sleeping..... It's creepy 😶🌫😶🌫
I highly doubt this is the actual home simply because in the game you have to go up to the 2nd floor and then go up into the attic, this home looks like it does not have an accessible attic. And if it did have one it would be very small
Not woodbury getaway but a very similar experience happened to me from what happened in norwood hitchhike, I feel like that's one of the most realistic out of all of them.

@mocuuaa will they ever make any that are not based on true events but just for fun? Like one involving Bigfoot one involving The Yeti and one involving The Headless Horseman.
I watch your other videos waiting to see something new no the same thing that you’re saying in the other videos lol and xd why half of the video is about other game? 🤦🏼♀️

When I was watching Fear of Fathom gameplays, I came across this channel, and without a doubt, it's now one of my favorite channels.

Moes pizza is located in Oregon. I live very close to it and Oregon is even mentioned in this episode I felt like this couldn’t be a coincidence
wel yeah but they're northeastern US
theres also a moe’s pizza in texas, another in germany and 2 more in california. idk if any of them are related tho
but they're heading to vermont?

Dude please answer this:-
What did mike see in the basement that caused to run upstairs?
Was it a prank? Or something else
I think he just heard something from the locked door, possibly from Rick.
Probably heard "Rick", got scared and ran off.
can i get the link to the post of the woodbury getaway house?
That man creepy. Why is he smiling?!
I thought the game was based on reddits let’s not meet or no sleep
Was this really based on a True Story?
Probably since the whole game's episodes are based on real events
