Great review! I had the opportunity to try this during the Whiskies of the World event in Atlanta. In my opinion it definitely tastes like a really smooth cognac. On the front of the palate, I tasted a nice amount of citrus notes and mid to back is where I received the dark fruits and dark chocolate along with mild oak. This is very smooth and also very different. I would pass on this unless you’re just wanting it to complete your collection.
FOMO is definitely real when it comes to untried bottles. Anymore I don't like to spend more than 150 if I haven't tried it myself or heard a review from a trusted friend.
I hope I don't offend y'all, but could I ask y'all to please *slow down?* This Texas boy just can't hear as fast as y'all talk, and a lot of Southerners surely have the same problem. 🤠
We just got a bottle in at the store I work at , thinking about buying it to resale after seeing these prices y’all are quoting . And I don’t resell I buy to enjoy most often .
You think only $400?? last one I saw on the shelf was $599, and that was at a store considered "fair" and not a museum. Think more like $700-$800 in a lot of cases.

What do you guys think of the Weller cypb. I won a bottle in the new Hampshire lottery. I’m excited to try it.
Just found a bottle today for $200 out the door. Excited to eventually open it!
I love this bottle! 😊

Great review
I only saw it once for $799! No way! I’d love to own a Parker’s, but not at that price. $250 would be my max. I’d also prefer a bourbon. Thanks!
Good information!
Thanks, Bob!
Could have gotten it at retail and passed on it because of the uncertainty of the how that finish would be. $175 nope. Probably should’ve flipped it.
Have you guys experienced better high aged American Malts?
Not necessarily higher aged.
