    If i would have a cent for every "indie tactical fps shooter" thats not even close to completition...
    is there any originality to this genre?
    few games done it right, devs trying to mimick it without taking an indepth look into why it was actually a success, instead trying to second guess it.
    for the indie devs, we dont want you to basically remake a game that already exist.
    Change gameplay elements, focus on different aspects, workout new gameplay functions / factors, challenges, being bland is how you kill your game.
    If you dont have any ideas on how to do it, it means you are not skilled enough to make it. Make it as your own personal project instead of trying to sell the crap project that you use to learn the engine.
    Look, changing the scene and maybe adding an arbitary useless gameplay factor, then changing things drasticly on the otherhand like weapon handling made sluggish etc DOESNT MEAN ITS A GOOD IDEA FOR A GAME
    stop reinventing the wheel and instead research, study game design, make a game that makes you want to play it instead of xyz shooter because it fills in a gap that an other game couldnt
    From this 5 minute gameplay i seen Ground Branch, Ready or Not mixed together with even a less half baked ass product, it didnt offer anything new to the table, thats main problem with it!
    No illwishes on the dev, me making a critique is for the reasons to improve this genre and stop devs from wasting their time and nudge them towards self reflection and humility, as thats the biggest virtue one can have.
    Multi millionaire standard game industry companies can afford to make bland games because marketing solves everything, for the small devs all you can do is to make something thats totally unique and revolutationary and offers objectivly more indepth / better gameplay. Else you are just part of the *Buzz light year clone copy gif*, wasted opportunity and manpower.
