Hi Steph. I'm new here and enjoyed watching. Wow 20 books read is amazing! Oh no, I have Godkiller on my shelf and have been looking forward to it. The Teller Of Small Fortunes is on my TBR, it looks so pretty! I've not read The Shining yet. I'd love to get around to it. That's Not My Name sounds up my street. Great video.
I love the new covers for the Ultimate Storyteller editions! I really enjoyed The Shining. I need to read Doctor Sleep.
I read 8 books in January I'm happy with that I'm a single mother and work full time so always exhausted on a night time see how well I do in February.
That’s amazing 😻 well done and God bless you
I really want to read the final scene!
My favorite books of January were these (can't pick a top 3-5):
Honestly Elliott, by Gillian McDunn
Two Girls, a Clock, and a Crooked House, by Michael Poore
No Place Like Home, by Jenny Lundquist
The Siver Unicorn (Evie's Magic Bracelet, book 1), by Jessica Ennis-Hill
Breaking the Ice, by Gail Nall
and
The Enchanted Puppy (Evie's Magic Bracelet, book 2)
So, most of my books in January were 5-star reads. However, there was a plane crash in the States not too long ago, carrying a few skaters and this happened as I finishing up "Breaking the Ice" which is also about skating. Very strange feeling.
I’m currently reading witchcraft for wayward girls and absolutely loving it it’s not gory to me but I am only 53% in so hoping it gets gory if not I have loved the plot and the characters.
Hi Steph! Hope your week is going well.
Godkiller was my favourite book of Jan! I really enjoyed it. Teller of Small Fortunes is also on my tbr. I didn’t enjoy True Crime Story - it felt very male gazey to me and it just kinda didnt feel how I wanted it to.
10 books read in January, 2 more this month. BUT 15 DNF's so far this year (maybe even 16 if I didn't have time to add another book to my reading list before I gave up on it). I just saw that on Storygraph. Yikes!! I could have read so many more if there weren't so many horrible ones.
I read half the books you read (meaning 10 books, not the actual books you read in January lol)
