That first story... the company who hired them should be investigated for negligence. An entire team had health issues directly caused by workplace trauma. Clearly they completely ignored the mental health of their employees, and I'd argue it also sounds like we're somewhat manipulated into taking a terrible job that caused so much mental harm to the point that everyone killed themselves. So heartbreaking and honestly unacceptable.

I follow a number of Crime scene cleaners because of my field and I admit the turnover rate is high because of how traumatizing the work can be. Mind you, they clean up hoarding houses, suicides, crime scenes, and even sometimes disaster repair and are private companies not state run. But I've never heard of so many people from a single company- let alone a single crew- passing away so shortly after working there

Also, (i believe in energy, reincarnation aura etc) sometimes energy of suicidal people can attach to living people. I had such case. I didn't even know but there was a guy on my street who committed suicide. One day i started to feel very sad, started to see images in my head like hanging rope, I literary had mental break down because I felt like I want to kill myself. And I had depression episodes before and I never wanted to kill myself because in my faith you will need to live this horrible life again so for what. I knew asap that these feelings were not mine, my mom is a someone like medium and she took this attachement from me. It all stopped in like 5 minutes or even less. From suicidal thought to my happy self instant. So I wouldn't be supraised if after such long working there they collect energy of that people and shared feelings with them.

I once saw a video about a CSC crew in Japan. They would always light some incense and say a prayer to apologize to the person for disturbing their space and to help them find peace. The crew leader said something like, whether or not they believe the houses were haunted the cleaners needed the ritual to set their own head space for the job.

The situation you were describing about how babies will be playing in their rooms by themselves and talking and the mom will ask who they’re playing with and they say a family member that’s passed that they were never told about has literally happened to me/my mom. When I was a toddler, I was playing in my room, talking to whomever I was playing with and when my mom asked me who I was playing with I apparently said “grandpa _____”, which was my paternal grandfather that had died when my dad was 13. I had never seen a picture of him or anything so my mom brought me a photo album and I apparently flipped through the pages until I got to a picture of him and pointed right to him.

    • @river6032
      @river6032 11 місяців тому +2

      I did this too.
2 of my grandpa's siblings passed away before I was born. One died as a toddler, hit by a car, and the other had cerebral palsy and may have had polio, considering my grandpa had it around the time his condition worsened.
At this time I did NOT know about either of them or their deaths, much less their names.
When I was 8 or so, my great grandma passed away and my grandpa inherited her home, and allowed us to move into it since he has his own house. Our very first night in the house my mom heard me talking to someone and playing, and I told her I was talking to Sylvester and playing with "baby Helen"
Mind you, Helen died in 1951 and Sylvester died in 1978. I was born in 2003.
Until that point I'd never heard of either of them, not to mention nobody EVER called him Sylvester, he was always 'Vesty' and everyone still calls him that. I would have had no way of knowing that name, and especially not Helen's.

I believe there is something after we go (physically). My cousin passed away last Feb before the panini hit hard. My aunt kept the one of the candles (battery based candle) from his viewing. She has a little alter at her house with a picture of him, the candle, and his ashes. She’s never changed the battery in the candle and neither has my uncle (her husband). She says the light is dim, but it’s still going. On October 21st of this year, my uncle (aunt’s and my mom’s brother) sadly passed away. In Mexico they do the whole cremation process super quick. She brought his ashes back home and sat them down next to my cousin’s ashes. She said after a couple of minutes the light on the candle got brighter and brighter. My aunt and her husband both looked at each other in shock because that candle has been extremely dim until she put my uncles ashes there. Energy definitely stays here on earth. Maybe it was a sign from my cousin letting my aunt know her brother was home with him and the rest of our family members or maybe it was a coincidence. We will never know

  • @Baby_lindseyy

I actually have a story from my childhood that haunts me to this day. When I was little and I lived with my mom there were several spirits that lived in my house. It wasn't a good home in anyway and was basically a breeding ground for bad energy. I remember seeing shadows that looked like people all around the house and back yard. I would even talk to some of them and some would cause things to fall off of selves when I did. However this isn't even the point of my story. There was a time when my mother had someone come over to do a spiritual cleansing. The woman that came was there to sage the entire house and then do a prayer to rid all of the dark energy. When she arrived she said she could sense many spirits in the house, some good some bad. There were three very dark spirits that she recognized right away. Two in the house and one in the back yard. She also told us that I had a guardian spirit that followed me everywhere I went and kept me safe from the dark energy that was in the home. I was fairly religious growing up. I went to church, I prayed, and I had also been baptized. Anyways after she had gone through the whole house with sage she came out onto the front porch to do the prayer that is supposed to force all the dark energy out. She had told us that "they" knew why she was here and they didn't like it. I remember standing behind her with my mother as she began to read the prayer out loud. About half way through the prayer both my mom and I started to notice three larger scratch marks that went down the back of the woman. Her entire face was red and she had marks around her throat as if something or someone was chocking her. She also got more scratches down her arms and chest. They were trying to stop her from completing the prayer. We had been with the woman the whole time she was in the house those scratches had not been there when she arrived and she wasn't scratching herself nor had any living person in the house touched her. Because we were behind her while she was reading the prayer we only saw the scratches form on her back. However I know for certain the other injuries she got happened at the exact same time. It was crazy to see especially as a child. to this day I think about that experience. This is also all 100% true I witnessed it all first hand and I wasn't the only one that still remembers it so I know it wasn't just my childhood imagination.

      I saw it
      I screamed
Not because I was scared but because I expected everyone else to scream
I was the only one to scream
Then everyone else screamed because I screamed
So moral of the story is don’t scream.
I was the only one to scream. Not because I was scared but because I thought everyone else would. If I hadn’t nobody else would’ve.

My heart is aching over the poor man who was killed over a misunderstanding...you can feel the heaviness in this story. It reminds me of one my husband told me- when he and his friends were teenagers, they would explore abandoned buildings local to our city, and there was a house down the road that had some damage in the front. A group of 7 or so of them went in one night with nothing but their phones and flashlights. My husband and one of his friends were in one room exploring, heard their other friends screaming and running out of the house, so they went to see what was going on. They saw a woman in a wedding dress covered in blood and she screamed. He said they thought it was an evil spirit, but I just kind of felt sad... it didn't sit right, him calling her an evil spirit, so I looked into it, and the house was owned by newlyweds. The night they got married, they had a little too much to drink, and the groom crashed the car into the front of the house and the bride unfortunately passed away. The way their encounter strikes me is a sad soul longing for her husband..her best friend... remember guys, please don't drink and drive, and just because a spirit seems scary at first doesn't make them evil or dark.

As a child I always had paranormal experiences. When I was 5 I lost my grandmother who we were very close with. She had cancer and lived with us during her chemo treatments and before I was born she lived in my room. My grandma knew she was going to die and asked to go back to her home so that my brother and I didn’t have to see her as she transitioned out of life. After she passed I would talk about how I saw grandma in my closet. I could see what looked like feet walking in my closet through the crack under the door. I never saw her face but I just knew it was her. I felt her energy and I felt safe yet confused. My parents cleansed my room and I stopped seeing her. But about 2 years later my younger cousin passed away very tragically and suddenly in a house fire. My brother saw him all the time but I never had. When I was about 11-12 years old I was laying in bed on my phone and had my small heater on in my room because it was winter. This heater had a little thing on the bottom that made the heater work so it had to be on a flat surface in order for the heater to turn on. It was on a small table across from me. I saw it turn slightly and then it just flew off my table. Almost as if someone had quickly pushed it with a lot of force. I was frozen in bed and couldn’t move. When I finally could move I went and got my dad. The next day he told me it could’ve very likely been my cousin because they believe the house fire was caused by a portable heater that caught fire. I never knew that detail of the fire because I was so young when it happened. Now I’m 19 years old and lost my dad In January 2021. My dad, brother and I were very into paranormal stuff. My dad always told us “when I die I’m going to fuck with you guys and haunt you” he has stuck to his word and visits us often. He has even visited some of my closest friends by moving the prayer cards of him that some of them have. He had done this to me as well. His prayer card is on my visor of my car clipped underneath my garage door button. It was on there very snug and only could be knocked down if you hit the garage button off. I was listening to a song called father while I was in the car with my gf. And suddenly the prayer card fell into my lap but the garage button stayed right in place. Still have no explanation for any of my experiences and have plenty of experiences that prove to me that there is something in the afterlife.

He said he kept hearing this tapping noise too, so he went lookin around the house to see where it was coming from, and after lookin around the house he finally realized the sound was just from the wind blowing trees around n makin em tap the windows. So naturally he was like "haha funny story I was so stupid and scared last night". Meanwhile, I have like major chills and I'm freakin tf out, because we DIDN'T have trees around the apartment. Or shrubs, or anything. Just grass. I had to literally walk him around the house to show him too, cuz he genuinely thought I was fuckin with him. I have 2 near death experiences. One from a seizure, one from a heart attack. From my experience, there is an afterlife but you don't need religion to attain it. The first time was chaotic and the beings that were there were upset because I wasn't suppose to be there yet. The second time, I was welcomed and told if I was ready to go, I could. I don't know why I came back. I guess I had more to accomplish before I truly leave.

Oh my God when Morgan told the story at around 36:00. I remembered that I had the same experience a few months after my Pap died. I didn't have a near death experience or anything but instead it was a dream. In my dream I was sitting underneath a tall oak tree. It was really sunny outside but the temperature was perfect and there was a perfect breeze keeping the air cool. I couldn't really see anything around me besides grass and light, but I could just feel nature. Then my Pap walked up beside me and stood next to me under the tree and he didn't look like how he did before he died. He looked exactly like how he did when I was a child. Colorful and full of life, not wore down by his age or life. We started talking about the usual like we would when he was still alive. How I'd been, how was college, that sort of thing. That was until he said "I'm proud of who you've become, and I'll always be proud of you. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to meet the real you when I was still alive. But I'm okay here." Then I woke up. My Pap died not knowing that I'm transgender, so I think he came back to let me know that he now knew and that he still loved me. Funny thing was that after I had that dream, my closest cousin said that she had a similar dream about Pap. I'm convinced that my Pap came back to say one last goodbye to us before he left for good.

My dad died early, when I was about 16. He accidentally overdosed on medication and had a heart attack. (At 30 sim years old) Fast forward to becoming a young mom, I put my baby to sleep. And turned on the baby monitor. Later, I literally heard crying over the baby monitor, but it wasn’t my baby crying. It sounded like a full grown man sobbing…. I thought someone was in my baby’s room. My heart was pounding, and I came armed running in. The air felt so negative, sad, and heavy. I saw a shadow disappear. My baby was sound asleep in the same position I last saw her in.. I really believe this was my dad. The shadow seemed to be about the same size, and after thinking about it; when my dad really hit rock bottom with drug abuse, that is what his sobs sounded like. It hurts to think he may have been hurting like that, but he loved so deeply and would have loved to meet my beautiful little girl. And there was no reason for this type of thing to happen. I will never forget about that night.

I have a moment with a spirit that has always stayed with me. My sister was killed when she was 23 and she left behind her three yo and one yo girls. One night I was at a cabin in Vermont with my whole family, including her girls, and I had a dream that she walked into the room I was sleeping in and had a talk with me. I can’t remember what we talked about but I remember feeling so at peace that I was sobbing. When she was done talking she hugged me and asked me to wake up because her baby was crying and needed help. As soon as I opened my eyes sure enough my three year old niece was crying in bed. I would have never heard her if my sister hadn’t come to my dream. I never got to see her before she died so I think of that as my last interaction with my little sister.

Rotting flesh seems to be involved in a lot of the activity. I wonder if hallucinations can happen from the gasses off of a dead body if it’s been left for a long time… It’s possible that there was a picture of the man upstairs in the flannel shirt and it didn’t register right away. Something to do with the dead body gases and the chemicals they’re using?

Let me tell u this, this shit freaks you out and gets to you. I ended up being mentally and emotionally affected to the point that I had to be put on medication and therapy. Ik a lot of people don't believe me when I tell them this, but it's super scary and my bf can confirm. He works in a hospital and everytome I have smelled the smell of roses, someone always ends up dying at his work or family members. This always comes before I get the news that someone in my family was dying or anyone at his work was close to death. He's learned to prepare himself whenever I have this come to me and he fully believes in it. I've also always had weird paranormal stories...

Much of which is the family not understanding. If you ever feel isolated, or alone, please reach out to your loved ones. Even if you dont feel loved, they do love you and the pain you leave behind is immeasurable.

I lived in a house that had a homicide/suicide as well. I was just a kid, so like around 6. I used to have horrible nightmares, and always felt like I was being watched at all times. Doors would lock on their own, I would get my pants tugged on while on the stairs etc. I could go on and on. Later when I got older my mom told me that house had a grandma and her nephew that lived there before us, she wouldn't give him money for drugs so he brutally murdered her and then killed himself. When we first moved in there was blood under the tiles/on the walls and my mom and aunt were fixing it up. I remember it vividly but had no idea what if was at the time.

She told both of them that if there is a heaven or an afterlife she would let them know. The night after she passed my mom had a dream. She said it was VERY realistic and she thought she was awake. My greatgrandma came to her in her dream and said “(my moms name) I just want to let you know that am alright, I’m not scared anymore” My mom talked to my grandparents a couple days later and told them her dream and they were astonished because of what she had told them right before she passed. I love the spooky!! I have a terrifying story! Or it was for me. About 5 years ago while in college I had just moved into a new house for the start of a new year and my bf was sleeping over. I woke up from a dead sleep bc it sounded like someone was knocking under my bed. I thought it was my bf trying to scare me so I just laid back down and told him to cut it out. Well a minute or so later 3 more knocks came from under my bed. I shot up saying, “this isn’t funny. I’m trying to sleep.” I tried going back to sleep when 3 more loud knocks come from under my bed. I pick up my phone to call so his phone would go off under the bed and I could prove to him that I knew it was him and he wasn’t scaring me. After a couple of rings he answers his phone and he had been outside smoking while all of this went down! I freaked out and told him he needed to come back in immediately to help me check under my bed for an intruder or something. Nothing and nobody was under my bed and to this day I still can’t think about it without getting freaked out!!

So when we grow into adults we kind of ignore our intuition more unless we were brought up to trust it. So that’s why babies and young children are able to experience more paranormal things happening because they haven’t been taught to ignore their intuition and passed off as seeing something that “isn’t there” is crazy.

Even though I always wanted to believe in ghosts, I was always SO skeptical.
But then, my friends dead dad connected with me and I found out I can sense certain spirits.
I remember being in my room and suddenly feeling like I was a 30ish year old man with a goatee, looking down at this 6y/o child.
Then I was back in my room, hearing this spunky dude telling me to tell his daughter about the "wolves"
He came in so boldly, like a party animal kind of person here to have fun, but also soft and kind. There was so much love for his kid.
I tried to ignore it, but it was almost like there was a man RIGHT in my room, going "THE WOLVES COME ON YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. TELL HER IM HERE"
So finally, I text my friend. I ask her about her dad (who died roughly 2 decades before I met her)
I ask her if wolves meant anything to her. She told me how before her dad passed, he'd always get her wolf themed items. It was their special thing.
She sent me a photo of him, since I've never seen a photo of him before. All I knew before this was she had a dad that passed when she was a kid. And after I asked if he had a goatee (I kept scratching my chin bc I STG it felt like I had a goatee there) she told me how his signature thing was his goatee.
The photo was the EXACT man I visualized myself as looking at this kid
And the kid I saw, turned out to be my friend when she was little
She told me, verbatim, he was a "party animal" and how jubilant he was.
I tell her about how it was like he was bursting into my energetic space to say HEY and she laughed because that was so like him.
He's still around sometimes. I think he likes that he's still remembered.

I wonder if the dark cloud in the cleaning one was a spirit of suicide that had left the guy they were cleaning up after and maybe attached itself to the cleaner- not sure if he’s one of the guys that killed himself after those jobs. before it even got to that part that’s what came to my mind. I fully believe that mental health is real and important but I also strongly believe there can be spiritual aspects to these things as well that we can’t understand. I’ve seen mists that others couldn’t see several times in churches and other religious settings. We live in a very physical realm and we also live in a very spiritual realm whether we are aware of it or not. That is so sad for those cleanup workers.

Another was after my other dog has passed I felt the pressure of something climbing onto my bed and then warmth along my leg (where he would lay down) and then it left and that spot was still warm.

I love seeing Justins point of view but 1000% agree with Morgan’s creeped out by all of this. Love the podcast !

I remember my first memory like the very first conscious memory. I woke up one day when I was 4 wondering where I was, who I was, and what I was doing there. And I had memories that felt separate from me, like not mine but I had them in my head. Like not quite dreams.
They’re faded to me now, because I’m 26 and this was when I was very small.

when I was a little kid, my family lived with my grandparents for a few years in Cali. My parents lived in the newly built apartment on the bottom level. One day they heard me furiously shouting and ran into my room asking what's wrong. And they told me I angrily pointed to my high shelf saying "she keeps touching my toys". They asked who and I said the old lady with the long white hair and dress. My parents were so freaked out they kept me in their room. Come to find out the house used to belong to an elderly Italian woman whose son tricked her into signing the house to him and put her in an old folks home when she wanted to die in that house. The apartment had not been there when she was so the assumption was she was just checking things out. Never had any issues thank goodness.
My Great Aunt is also very sensitive to the paranormal, she has seen some bizarre things! she says that I'm kind of blocked to it, almost like I'm keeping a wall up. I am kind of glad, because some of the things that she has seen I would never want to see. especially after an incident where I swear I was being watched by something and felt that it kept getting closer until I finally just went and fell asleep out of fear.
