@@Ilovebfdiaitscool9It requires you to give up your drift boost which lasts longer plus you need that crooked angle to really make use of motion glider. tldr: drift boost+motion glider>tricking, you also dont want to trick off canons, instead hop over the start of the glider ramp and land on the edge of it (sends your glider out quicker). I believe this how it works, I apologize if any of this is wrong.
I had the clutchest win ever in Mushroom Gorge today! I was in first coming around the last turn and I of course expected someone to do the gap jump so I tossed my bomb forward right before the finish line and bombed someone landing from the gap jump and I secured my 1st place 😎. I peaked lol

I really like your Videos. The ProGuide helped a lot with Bulletspots. But unfortunately i get mariokarted a lot even when i drive normally. As for bagging, i only bag when i have a burnout or when get mariokarted. I always want to win without bagging. I get hit a lot by random green shells or fireballs. Im currently at 9k vr. Im looking forward for future videos ^^
You might already be doing this, but try playing defensive with your items, it might help if the problem is getting hit by stray fireballs and green shells. Good luck!
@@connormcgee4711 I could play a bit more defensive, yes, but those green shells are coming sometimes from the wierdest places where i cant defeat them.
Some attacks simply cannot be avoided, and you can treat them as your opponent making a good play, or you got unlucky. There is an entire category of things that can happen in mario kart that are not in your control. When these things happen to you, you need to mentally reset and try to make the best decisions in your new position, as if your little brother just handed you the controller! You must not let yourself start making bad decisions, or it will keep going downhill!
Hello Mr/ Shortcat i have a question, on the panels on the side of the lanes to jump like in DK summit or Waluigui Staduim, I notice you correct the line to use the panel again almost immediately after coming down but when I try to do this I always drift out or the vehicle goes wide and I can only use it once. or twice at most. BTW thanks thanks to your videos I've gone from 2000 vr to 4500

Hello, this is my second time leaving this comment, after I saw ur max traction video 5 months ago, these are just thought about how to buff traction. Love watching ur videos, even though I've never played a nintendo game in my life, but I have an idea on how they could buff Traction. I know that they've already finished balancing the game, but just a thought. And i know this is 5 months later for ur max traction vid but who cares. Along with it's abilities rn, they should make it so that on a slippery road like dirt, (not water, and i'll get to why in a second) ppl w/ more traction can actually go faster, bc they have better grip, which will make less useless and balance it. For being underwater it should be its own hidden stat, with it's own variable with each combo. To make it even more balanced, they should make a new power up, (or add to the ink squid that blinds u) so that when somebody uses and ink squid, the whole track becomes slippery terrain for the player (only for player that is affected) during the duration of ink squid. They could also just make a whole new power up for that too. This will make ppl want value traction into their combos more, because of the risk of such a power up. This power up will be obtainable from 12th - 6th, (place) with a higher chance of getting it from 8th-6th. The farther u are from the next player in front of u, the higher the chance of getting said item. There are chances to get in all spots, but it will be lower chances in 3rd-1st, and neutral in 5th and 4th place. AS u said, slipper turns can be easily managed, once u get now the track, but not many tracks even have slippery terrain, so on a track with no slippery terrain, this power up would be useful, if u r using a traction-favorable combo. This power up would amazing for bagging, and also a massive variable in how ppl play the track, as now they will want to always be on the look out for a power up like this, making them want favor traction a lot. its a good controller for games that get unbalanced bc of yoshi teddy buggy dominating, (although now i realize that it has decent traction). U also said that slippery roads or turns can be avoided completely w/ a mushroom so they could nerf it. I have a few ideas: 1. When on slippery road, shrooms will make people take turn wider the less traction they have, bc they slip, making it unviable 2. Less chances for getting a shroom (simple but im not gonna into detail on how less of a chance) 3. Make shrooms MORE powerful so that they're cracked normally but on slippery terrain will make u crash into the next turn at mach speed, stunning u. 4. when in a shroom boost, if u hit a wall u will lose coins and spin stun (or whtver its called) but yeah This is my idea of making Traction good :)

1. Does anyone know if the handling stat changes how much you can affect the Bullet Bill by steering?
2. Does either the speed or MT stat affect a draft boost?
