Thank you for detailed explaination on your methods. It's more information than one finds presented by some others. I unfortunately can't afford those cutters at $20 a pop to just work on my 5 clocks, so an alternate way of cutting will have to be found.

would you know how I can make this movement tick louder? I have this movement and it is a week old and too quite for my taste almost silent as a matter a fact
