What about the gambia where kuntah came from to America.
what about the still existing African Slave Trade.
TAKEN? you mean sold by other Africans that TOOK them to the coast and SOLD them
The tribes dwelling by the sea shore suffered most from slave trade
You live in delusion. Europeans did not capture slaves from Africa. Africans captured Africans much like they still do today. Took them to the coast and sold them.
You forgot to mention Suriname, and Guiana ❤

First of all that first city picture is Austin, Texas (the capital) in the hill country. Hours away from the Texas coast (inland). Houston is on the Texas gulf coast. Yes, Houston has a very diverse population, that's a plus and we love it. Thanks.
They didnt take over. Still ruled by the white man.
hahaha!
Nigerians and Black Americans get along great here in Houston my highschool sweetheart was a Nigerian girl lol. We must start to build big businesses together. I literally ate Suya and Jollof last night haha.

You are babblin an no we dont, look at the title of video, its foolish,an will cause more drama, its already drama an about to get worse for immigrants, noone will take over our homeland, when we get mad an hit the streets, the purge begins, even SouthAfricans not having it,you people must be on drigs thinking hou csn play with is be himble,an show respect or else,i never would go to Nigeria an say Foundational Black Americans took over stop, its dangerous to create click bate titles,my people are not taking no more disrespect!
I used to live in the Houston area. My reason was that a good paying job opportunity was available because of connections my brother had.
its only 60 thousand be careful on your wording they are not taking over they just live there trying to make a living
@@sulner9997 The numbers have grown past that…The 60k population should be around 2016. Texas has the highest number of Nigerian Americans, reaching 102,544 individuals. This is according to “World Population Review 2024” And yeah, they live there and contribute to the growth of the community.
Exactly. They not taking over nothing.
I hope they are legal
@@jjdanfodioListen,America is Blavk Americans land,an no one will taje over nothing its over 44 million of us stop playing!
exactly, that's how Nigerian unnecessarily "fluff" and over exaggerate themselves while Nigeria still remains a dump. We should put that energy in fixing Nigeria however it can be done. stop bragging about what you are allowed to achieve in another man's land because they can take it away just like they implemented it with one policy.
This takeover mentality is diabolical. Anyway, dont be mad when we don't entertain this nonsense.
It's just a term used to lay emphasis on surplus Nigerians in Texas and why they love the location. No hard feelings ❤️

Why would you leave somewhere like Lagos hoping for a better life, then do everything to turn the place you move to into a carbon copy of the place you left....with no consideration for anyone else.
@@woofolliesmydog8628 People have different reasons for moving, and whatever the reason may be they still need to feel close to home which is where the community comes in. It is not bad at all it happens everywhere, there is a Chinese village in Nigeria where Chinese people host themselves.

Woolwich***
It doesn't belong to the black ethnic group. They just live in the area just as Jews live in a certain area in london. I use to live in the Thames mead area in the 80s and I never saw this much nigerians. It was predominantly white area. When blacks started moving in, they moved out towards the country areas and via Kent. They know when blacks move in and then when they are fed up, they do what you can gentrification. White people move back in and move the blacks out to other areas.
