- The popular UA-cam group ‘The Try Guys’ announce Eugene Lee is leaving the group to pursue other creative endeavors, according to Rolling Stone. The remaining duo, Zach Kornfeld and Keith Habersberger, also announced their shift away from the platform to their new subscription service ‘2nd Try.’

I’m sorry, but you misspelled and Eugene Lee Yang’s name in the title…

Knew this is coming since all their videos do not have much of Eugene. Knew he will be pursuing new works and projects.
His name is Eugene Lee Yang. And he is amazing! So excited for what’s next.
Honestly surprised they went forward with this subscription based platform when Watcher was torn to shreds over it.

Things change and people move on and grow. Not a big deal at all
It kind of is a big deal though. He’s been part of the Try Guys for 10 years. Yes, eventually they’ll move on but that doesn’t make this any less significant.

Kinda like what happened to Watcher…
This is way better than what Watcher did! Try Guys' existing content will remain on their YT and "some" of the 2nd TV shows will be on their YT channel at a much later date, for free. They also stated that are they aware that there are people who cannot afford to subscribe and that if people still wanted to support them, they can by watching their YT channel. They won't have worry getting demonetized after spending a lot of time and money on videos. Examples: Zach said b*tthole in a video and it took 3 days to find out why it got demonetized, they worked closely with YT to determine how the film the Smoke Show and it still got demonetized, etc. They explained how YT algorithm often works against creators.
It was very much not like what happened with Watcher....

It’s just extra content so that they can stay relevant while still making the content they love. Think about Mythical Society. People pay for that don’t they?
