I didn't know that guitar controllers in Guitar Hero games have a motion sensor built inside of it. Just like a Wii Remote, the Remote has Wii Motion Plus, and it responds to the sensor bar depending on movements.
HELP: when I hit my first two star power combos my star power automatically turns on. I know it isn’t that I am moving the guitar because later on in songs when I get star power for a second it doesn’t automatically turn on. Any help here would be great
Go into the Training section from the main menu and select Tutorials. From there, select the tutorial you want to do. You also need to be using an actual guitar controller instead of a standard controller.

@@christianloubardias6375 You need to keep the fret button held down for the duration of the long note. You don't need to keep the strum bar held down, though.
There are bundles that come with two controllers, but most bundles that come with the game only include one. Standalone controllers are also available.
Thanks to Lou now I say "nimrod" instead of just saying "idiot" or "dimwit"
0:58 HEY! Watch it bro
It only comes with one guitar, and as for the height of the guitar, I'm not too sure how long it is.

Lou is never going to be a God of Rock
how can i tilt if im using only my keyboard?
You'd have to use the key that activates Star Power. Computer keyboards don't have tilt sensors.
every guitar hero controller/rock band has it. the Wii one however uses the tilt sensors in the wii remote for star power.
I like Lou but I don't like his tone
0:07 Lou what are you doing here?
there's a motion sensor in every guitar that reads when you tilt the guitar vertically.
no, only number 3 comes with guitar battles. Although, 2 has co-op, face off, and pro-face off.
I have a glitch when doing the Star Power Tutorial. The notes aren't star power notes. They're just regular notes. :-/
I can't pass it.
You have to not overstrum/break combo in order to get Star Power. Breaking your streak during a Star Power phrase invalidates it.
@@BenAck912 Hmm, I'll have to look into this lol. Thanks!
@@MuffinMcFluffin No problem. ;)
kik ass.. ima gettin it on wednesday i think... so, even the non - wireless oones have it?

OMG, just noticed. How was this uploaded 9 days before the release of Guitar Hero. **illuminati thud*^ Preorder maybe?
I simply could not get the hang of using the whammy bar to increase Star Power energy gain, so I just skipped it
I can't choose tutorial on my guitar hero.I don't know why.Is it necessary to have a guitar control? help

and also, can u gimme an estimated length of the guitar? coz if its more then 1.25 metres then i cant play it XD
When long notes with energy appear, is there a trick to holding down the fret button and strumming and using the whammy bar?
when a long note appears, you only need to tap it, not hold it. with your right hand now free, you can use the whammy bar to rock back and forth.
@@paulink But I thought you needed to keep holding down the button for a long note

Guitar Hero 2 doesn't have Battle mode. That was introduced in GH3.
Paulina thank you, I want to know how to use it in a wifi remote because we lost our guitar for gh.
You can only access the tutorials with a guitar controller.
nope
how does it know when u use star power?
There is a tilt sensor in the guitar. You can also use the Star Power button on the body of the guitar.
hmm, so, does it come with 2 controllers?
