Tiger seal is great for repairing rubber stuff, it’s flexible and will fill holes. You can also texture it.

Two part glue worked well. I used shoe polish on mine. Great cameo from Mrs Dave !

I was thinking vulcanising rubber cement for puncture repairs, but that two part glue and activator worked well. Nice work again.

Try power bond superglue 806 not cheap but sticks anything,,😊

For glueing i use mitre joint super glue and spray activator dries in 10 seconds, myself with the handbrake gaiter best to use rubber patches or old bike tubes glued underneath the splits works very good, even done c.v boots in the past.

If the rubber is dry and stiff, it can be rejuvenates by boiling it in a large saucepan of water with about 50c of of wintergreen in it for about 30minutes. Do it when the wife is out! Richard
