I've been doing mindful spending
On this decluttering journey
Since down sized on our home
It has definitely made me think before I swipe my card
Love it! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
Hi Becky! I’m loving being on our de-cluttering journeys together. I originally thought it was to be a once only clean-out, but soon realised it’s a continuous process. My wardrobe of clothes is one example. Just when I believe I’ve got the right choice and amount of clothes, I’ll suddenly no longer like the style of a top or pants and into my donation bag they’ll go. I’ve had no regrets… just euphoric periods when that donation bag has left my home. You gave me the vision and the courage to join you and all the many others who follow your channel. Thank you for the encouragement you have given us all. Keep up the good work Becky! With love from Sheron in Toowoomba. Queensland, Australia . ❤️🌻
I just started my decluttering journey a few weeks ago and it feels amazing! I’m realizing too that it will be a continuous process. I’ve done the initial decluttering of my clothes and have now moved on to other parts of the house. When I’m done I’m going to go through my clothes again and get rid of even more. Then, I’ll repeat with the rest of the house. The more I declutter the easier it’s becoming to let stuff go. Best of luck on your journey❤
It's soooo easy to get attached to stuff. Our cultures today encourage us to get more and more stuff...just stuff. I like that journal called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks, I still use it sometimes to get rid of unnecessary stuff.
Love it! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
The big plant in the corner is the very famous Monstera Deliciosa. It’s beautiful and it becomes massive
She’s a beauty! 💕
@@minimalease indeed. Staple plant for plant collectors
Hey Becky, I love the drawings your family made and the frames you put them in are gorgeous! ❤
Thanks so much! They are so talented ❤️❤️

Hi Becky, had other things taking my energy for a few weeks, but will get back to my decluttering soon. Things that make us happy we have to keep! Great info💜
That’s great! I come and go with decluttering too when I have the energy or I’m overwhelmed ❤️❤️❤️ thanks for sharing!
Great information and ideas ❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
I think it’s my question that you’re answering in this video, which really made my day!! ♥️ And I enjoyed the video SO MUCH!! Thank you!
Awww!!
It is!! ❤️❤️ I love getting questions from yall!
❤ And I love seeing Biscuit!
Hahah he loves being on camera 🤣
Thanks again for more motivation❤❤❤ Have a great weekend😊
Aww thank you ❤️❤️ you too!
I love your beautiful cat soap! 🐱💖
Thanks!!
I think you mean Virginia Wayside Furniture not Wayside Furniture. They both exist, but are not the same. Great video. Thanks!
May I ask what the difference is?
@@cajbaf Wayside Furniture is a chain of stores in Ohio. Virginia Wayside Furniture is a single family owned store in Richmond Virginia. They are not related to each other. I didn’t want anyone in Ohio to be disappointed/confused if they went to Wayside Furniture in Ohio looking for that sofa and couldn’t find it.
Yes! I didn’t realize that thanks!!
❤
Thanks so much for sharing ❤️❤️
What is your name? I love all you share! Fantastic!
Becky Truda ❤️ thanks so much for
Hey where is that wireless charging dock from it’s so nice and I’ve been on a hunt for one!
It’s from Amazon I’ll see if I can find the exact one today 😀
Thank you!!!
Have you and your husband always seen eye to eye on minimizing or have either of you had to compromise on things? Future video or Q&A? My husband and I have had many "heated conversations" about stuff.
In the early days we were very far from eye to eye! It’s taken a ton of conversation for us to better understand each other and our needs and now it has become second nature ❤️❤️ not always perfect but it’s so much easier for us to compromise
Video about caring for cast iron?
Thanks for the idea!
The shoe basket thing wouldn't work for me. Yes the sand etc would eventually go to the bottom, but in the meantime, everytime anyone would pull a pair out, thered be dirt in the shoes closer to the bottom. Where would you dump the dirt into? The basket on top of the other shoes? And itd skuff the other shoes too. Just an observation
Because we have so few shoes I haven’t found that to be a problem where the shoes are dirty but if we have very dirty shoes like from mowing we put them on the shoe mat first so we don’t seem to have that problem ❤️ definitely won’t work for everyone though I can understand that!

I think you’ve mentioned before that your husband doesn’t like the process of decluttering. How does he feel about your minimalism in general?
There is a process of decluttering that simplifies it in a way. It is from Dana K White. She has 5 steps. Yes I know it seems like alot, but it is actually for me at least better than making piles and having to deal with them later should you get interruption in the middle of decluttering session. So her first step is the easy stuff first! So basically obvious trash that is no question. Then things that are out of place you take them there NOW! to their respective homes and you already have a home and know just exactly where that belongs. You are not trying to organize anything of figure anything out. You just put it back in it's place. Then she has the other 3 steps. But I recommend people watch her videos. It is called "decluttering at the speed of life"! It is Dana K White's method to declutter as that is her thing and her specialty. She says better is good. And you can choose how much time you want to declutter 30 seconds? 30 minutes? It doesn't matter. Hour or hours? Seconds and with her method it is no-fail and stress free. Well it minimizes the decision fatigue and emotional stress to a minimum and at the end. She includes 2 simple questions to help you take action on that item you may be indecisive or struggling with.
We have been through a lot of discussions and now he really enjoys it! He says now he goes into other peoples houses that are cluttered and he can appreciate how far our home has come ❤️❤️
Your list is fantastic 😁 I love that almost everything came from a thrift store, family member, neighbor, friend 😂 that is how I roll. So glad to have found your channel. May God bless you as you continue to share your journey.
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
That's so nice talking about the things that have stayed and are important to you and you really like
It helps me to be grateful and remember I don’t want to go back to where I was before with all my clutter! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️

Such beautiful wooden furniture. I am also currently keeping only furniture that i can move and clean under easily.
That’s great! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
Cords near the bed don't look so tidy) I would organize them somehow )
I just tuck them under the bed but I get you haven’t found a better solution yet
💗 … your videos are so helpful, with your ideas & suggestions!!
Aww thank you so much!!
That's a Pothos plant, not ivy. I have one too. They're lovely.
Thanks! It’s great!!
Hi Becky! I am on my declutering journey and I am having trouble decluterring my kids toys. They are still very young and they still play with them all. A lot of the toys were gifted to us and passed on from generations. But it's just too much stuff.
Kids toys are hard ❤️❤️ I found doing toy rotations and/or moving toys out of the space and waiting to see what my daughter wants to bring back. I’ll move toys to the basement where she knows where they are and over a few weeks she can get out anything she wants then we declutter what she doesn’t want at the end of the few weeks. Makes her feel more comfortable decluttering them and she’s less attached
@minimalease I have a child who loves absolutely EVERYTHING btw so it might be harder for us to get her to declutter then other kids ( she loves every rock and box just about everything) 🤣
❤ Lovely video as always ❤
Thanks so much ❤️❤️
