This is legendary.. and i think music producers don’t get enough credits they deserve. This people do about 80 to 90% of the job but most times you don’t even hear their names or see them.
The must importn thing is de song writer and who killed the delivery.my guy made his beat wrote a trash song n I begged de beat he gave me n my version is wot friends n de producer r goin crazy over .ahaha de artist voice n song makes everythg hit not their.i have given song ideas to so many producers who r musicians but can't kill their own beat.ahahah.without us song writers n singers produce r gonna sleep wit de beat at home. I want to create my company first ,be a business man bfor I go strickly into music bcs am still young for 20 yrs n creating my company is my must importn thing so dat I can build my own music industry by God grace.
CHOPTX definitely knew the impact of the 5 sec pause before the kick because that makes the listener anticipate whats next. its my fave part aswell...Dope producer mannnn
Burna was right when he started the song saying, "you go bow for the result o". I swear nothing to discuss o. This beat is 🔥🔥🔥. You did a great job creating this.
Much appreciated! “Last Last” will become an award winning song. I knew it was a hit when Burna performed it at the Garden. I lost my mind when It dropped.
I’m not a producer but I have good listening ears. That little soul and melody you added to it just took the song to another level. It brings nostalgic feeling to the listener. Sometimes it is just that one little thing that attaches the listener to the song. 8:13 that little sober feeling. Producers are really dope
Big props for shouting Darkchild. Thats how you pay homage, the original track still hits hard. I also love how your a mutli-daw users. I used FL and Reason for years. I use to use audicity for my vocals but then discovered ableton.
Feels good to hear someone that finally sees music making exactly how I understand it .... I've also maintained the fact that music is like a beautiful portrait "you must have painted it in ur mind b4 drawing it in a board" and ur ability to bring your painting to life is what makes u stand out as an artist
Not neccesarily, just do what works for you. I find my favorite afrobeat artists are the ones who don't overthink and just let the music flow out of them. A lot of times letting go of the need to have the whole picture painted and just freeing up and seing where the music leads you can result in some really spiritual classic songs
Badass sampling. Immediately that song came out it took me straight back to that Toni Braxton song, which is also my fave song of hers. That string progression by Darkchild was epic. Fantastic iteration of it 🙌🏽
to me is funny how chopstiks says real samplers dont copy n paste , when u hear a my beat it sounds like something completly new , yet it sounds exacltly like tony song, couldve just asked toni for instrumental and loop the first 10 sec and thats it
I go by the name of Belly Mac, Being an artist myself i always encourage my engineer ,producer & beat maker to compete with me when we working on a project. The same way 2 artist will bring their best bars forward on a track. I bring this up because When We usually hear a new song we ask ourselves “who’s the artist”, unconsciously forgetting the team behind the project.. But I love how with this one everyone asked straight away who made the beat. Without disregarding Burna Boys hard work…For the first time in a long time the producer/beat maker went harder than the artist. respectfully. Congrats to Ola. And more importantly, it’s a win for Africa.
We are basically in that era in African music where your music producers are actually the ppl that will get you the hit and not your fame as an artist. And Nigerian producers are doing just that. They will sample anything to make that distinctive music you always hear. I'm Ghanaian and you will definitely know one particular song is Ghanaian produced but these Nigerian producers!? They are the reason afrobeats is so big globally now.
YES CHOPSTIX! SHOUT TO ALL THE PRODUCERS We felt that love through the beat. I love how you mentioned ‘you don’t just sample, you have to at least make it something different’ and keeping it simple. Burna then elevated the track, personally I think this is gonna replace ‘Yè’ 😊
This is the very and exact way to breakdown a beat. Thanks Baba, this is nothing but a great way to reach out and encourage the upcoming producers. Thanks for this great contribution🥰🥰🥰
Wow, I love how you explained everything. As a dancer, I totally get what you said about the hitting and everything. More videos like this, this is really inspiring !
Thank you for uploading this breakdown on your channel,,it really motivates us upcoming producers to really take our craft more serious nd try out new things in music production.... thanks man... we'd love to see more breakdowns of your beats.
That part when he said ,you gotta show the producer who made the sample that you did some work during sampling and forsho mandem chopstiixx delivered , I don't know how many times I have watched this ,much love from Uganda

The struggle we go through but we stand strong cause our money good
Producers are the unsung heroes
Nowadays they’re more known cuz they’re actively making themselves be known. Comes down to marketing and a lot of producers ignore that part
Funny that you said it. Chopstix totally forgot to mention that he produced the song with 3 other producers who made the rest of the beat...

Fruity Loops, Cubase and Reason paid my bills in school (2005 - 2008). Now I'm a VP of People in the Tech industry

Any beat a 🇳🇬Nigeria producer touches always comes out Gold. Argue with their songs.
It's no reason to argue wit their songs...if it's🔥 it's 🔥and clearly it is...music brings people together ain't no need for arguing!😉
yea if the sample is from america hahaha
citizen Nigerian and south African beat producers are the best
sampling is stealing
@@tomiwaoguntoyinbo South Africa beat ain't given until it's been touch by a Nigerian producer. Period...!

No, the soul of "Ye" is irreplaceable really even though "Last Last" is magic !
Burna said this the song that he's made the most money 💰 from his whole career, and it's only been out 3 months 😤
Last last is the best song I hear this year
There would be no artists without their producers more credits needed 👏👏
This is the very and exact way to breakdown a beat. Thanks Baba, this is nothing but a great way to reach out and encourage the upcoming producers.
