If we or our kids are sick so we need to stay home from work, the swedish social incurance agency pays 80% of the salary Every day exept the first day up to 14 days. After 14 days the company needs to pay 80 percent of salary. If we get sick during vacation we have right to not count those days as vacation. Maybe thats same in USA?

@@princesparklestv6809 There are other rules and exceptions, however base is you can get paid for 6 years of studies, about 1/6th or 1/7th of a working wage per month (only months one studies, and need to pass). However on top of that one can also get more than double as a loan at a pretty low rate. So you can survive while studying, although it itself is not even enough to pay rent normally. And it only starts decreasing by age of 51, and you cannot get at all over the age of 60.

When you've had a child you can be home for about 1,5 years for every child (split btw the mum or dad) with almost full paid. You get help with the rent if you have children or if you're retired. Free schools and university and you can have a special "studyloan" from the State so you can study.
But sadly, since ppl started to vote on a Political movement,SD, that said they was like "in the middle of the left and the right", but actually (after they got super many votes) they shown their true colors which is brown! They have their roots in the nazism and the biggest questions are to get all immigrants out.
They collaborate with the right wing so the right wing could take the power. "The rights" keep making this terrible choices like taking our free hospitals and schools and making them private...that made it better for the allready rich of course but only for them. They started to kick out young ppl that working or in school back to their "homecountries" even if they don't know anyone there or even can speak the language!! Many tradegies happens now. They split familys, sending the one that don't earn so and so much and they don't considerate if that Country will put them in prison or even kill them
because fled. They made Sweden join NATO (actually against our laws) without letting us vote about it! Sweden is going to be mini USA soon I fear. 🥺
