ROCOR is not yet united with the other churches. They see themselves as pure and not giving in to the modern links. Letter 1: To Sr. Mary of Bethlehem
Dear Sister Mary of Bethlehem:
Received your letter and, although I have very little time at my disposal I will answer your question which is: Is the Consecration of the world, according to the request of Our Lady, made?
On Oct. 31, 1942, His Holiness Pius XII made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made as Our Lady requested. I answered "NO," because it was not made in union with all the bishops of the world.
Later, on May 13, 1967, His Holiness Paul VI made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made as Our Lady requested. I responded "NO," for the same reason, it was not made in union with all the bishops of the world.
On May 13, 1982, His Holiness John Paul II made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made. I responded "NO." It was not made in union with all the bishops of the world.
Then this same Supreme Pontiff, John Paul II wrote to all the bishops of the world asking them to unite with him. He sent for the statute of Our Lady of Fátima -- the one from the little Chapel to be taken to Rome and on March 25, 1984 - publicly - with the bishops who wanted to unite with His Holiness, made the Consecration as Our Lady requested. They then asked me if it was made as Our Lady requested, and I said, "YES." Now it was made.

With all respect, it appears that you have not “found” the letter which you mention. It is not at the link which you gave, and it is not written “in Sr. Lucy’s own hand.”
On the contrary, it is a computer-generated letter - not hand-written but type-written - and purportedly bearing the mere signature of Sister Lucy.
But in October 1990, Sister Lucy’s blood sister Carolina (who still routinely visited and corresponded with Sister Lucy) personally affirmed to Father Gruner, Father Paul Kramer, and Father Martial Berube that Lucy’s letters (sometimes four pages long) to her and to others were always written in longhand, never typed on a computer or typewriter. Sister Lucy’s Mother Prioress also confirmed in an interview with journalist Manuel Vilas Boasthat of the Portuguese newspaper O Jornal, published May 10, 1991, that Sister Lucy (then in her early 80's) conducted her correspondence only in her own handwriting. The letter which you cite was the first of five notorious forgeries circulated between August 1989 and July 1990: the first, dated August 29, 1989, addressed to Maria de Betlém; the second, dated November 8, 1989, addressed to Walter M. Noelker; the third, dated November 21, 1989, addressed to Father Paul Kramer; the fourth, not dated, addressed to the Magazine 30 Days; and the fifth, dated July 3, 1990, addressed to Father Robert Fox.
Each of these computer-generated letters contained factual errors that Sister Lucy would never have made, including (in the letter which you cite) a mistaken assertion that Pope Paul VI had performed a consecration of the world in Fatima on the 50th anniversary celebration of May 13, 1967. No such ceremony took place at all. Sister Lucy was present at Fatima that day for the celebration, and she could not possibly have made such an error.
Commenting particularly on this letter to Maria de Betlém, Frère Francois - the foremost living authority on the Fatima apparitions today - concluded: "The author proves his ignorance of the Fatima question, and so the letter cannot be by Sister Lucia." (www.fatimacrusader.com/cr33/cr33pg36.asp)
The forged signatures alone, however, were enough to irrefutably establish the letters as bogus. Father Paul Kramer submitted the letter which had been sent to him to a forensic scientist accredited as an expert witness in Canadian courts of law, who formally examined the signature on the letter, comparing it to Sr. Lucy’s known writing, and he pronounced it to be a forgery. Fr Gruner is so difficult to understand. He mumbles, fails to finish sentences and changes tack mid-stream. What I can get sounds pretty good but gee it’s hard work deciphering it.
Nonsense. Paul does not mention the Anti Christ.. and Russia is converted .. and we had our time of peace.. that is now over.

We have been living through the prophesied events in 2 Thes 2:3-12 and the mystery of the iniquity (2 Thes 2:7) -- that's why we have had two popes (one True -- Benedict XVI; and the other false) and great apostasy (2 Thes 2:3) in the Church. With the passing of Benedict XVI, the restrainer has been removed and, therefore, the antichrist will soon appear in public (2 Thes 2:7-8), who will be the head of the one world religion, followed by schism, banning of the daily Sacrifice of the Mass (Daniel 12:11), abomination of desolation (Matt 24:15), and cruelest persecutions of the Church (Rev 12:17, 13:10) for 3.5 years (Daniel 12:11-12, Rev 12:14). But God will protect His Church as promised in Matt 16:18, "the gates of Hell shall not prevail against Her," and His faithful remnant (Ps 91).
Catechism #675 and 677 state that, before the second coming of Christ, the Church MUST follow Her Lord to Calvary, Death, and Resurrection for purification and renewal of the Church and world, and salvation of souls. This Dogma will be fulfilled soon.
