No problem, Jared. At first I thought 'Hey, maybe he is from Michigan' as excited as he was about sharing the details on the offerings. Then the pronunciation and I realized Ok so he's not. lol Many Native American names are difficult to say until you know how to correctly deliver them. Thonotosassa, East of Tampa, Florida is a tough one for first timers, too. Thanks, love the videos, especially those about Michigan.
Traverse city campgrounds is unfortunately right next to the main road even at the back end of the campgrounds you can hear constant vehicles. Unfortunately would not recommend but it was fun to walk through :)
Yes, that may be bothersome for some! Would love for you to leave a review of your experience at Traverse City over on www.campendium.com if you haven't already :) - Liz
Can't wait until you get to Pictured Rock SP in the UP of Michigan. Spent a week there tent camping in a primitive site. Hiked out to the lighthouse and the back to the camp site along the sand beaches on Lake Superior.
Really? Hmm I grew up in Michigan and had friends who owned a home in Northport in Leelanau county. I always heard the county/peninsula pronounced as Leela-knaw or Leelan-aw but never Lee-la-now.
We went to Indigo Bluffs for the first time in Aug of 2018 & we’re returning again in 2019! They book up early, so call ahead but otherwise it’s a great place to stay.
Jared these videos are priceless. I look forward to everyone.
We love campendium.
Thanks so much.
Jared apologizes for butchering the pronunciation of Leeianau, but hopes you enjoy the list of places all the same. :)

No issues...it was funny to hear him mispronounce some of the cities....lived here all my life and still mispronounce names lol

Beautiful places. 🙏💜🌺🦊💙🤗
That's 'Lee-la-now.' 😉 Don't forget to sample the cherry pie when you're in Traverse City! 🍒🥧🍒
😍

Lee-la-naw for sure!

You had better book early to get Platt River, I was online 6 months ahead and they filled up in 5 minutes.
Hike the dunes to the lake. Difficult, but its worth it.
Great video as always!
I’m on my way, thanks.
Hope everyone has a fantastic RVing season this year :)!
It is actually pronounced: Lee-la-naw Peninsula.
Any Boondocking up there?
Not super close, but there's definitely free camping in Michigan: www.campendium.com/michigan/free-camping
It's pronounced Lee Len Naw. Not Lee La Nyew.
It's pronounced "Lee La Now"
Thanks for the info.
Do you truly need a RV?
Tent camping is often an option too :) This video features campsites that can handle RVs - but may also offer tent camping. - Liz
