The part where the poet reads the poem is difficult to understand for the people who don't know Tamil. It's so hilarious. The words used by the poet are ancient Tamil words which have become curse words. The poet was genuine with the appreciation poem. These type of poems can have two meanings. The poet says it in a good way but Vadivelu sir understands it in the bad way.

What pulikesi understand about the poem
Mama manna - Pimp King
Mullamaari - Scoundrel
Mudichaviki - Cheater or waste fellow.
Mooda - Fool
Punnaku - Pain in the ass
Andanngakkai - Giant Crow
But what the poet actually meant.
Mama manna is a short form of Mannargaluku ellam Mannar which means king of all king.
Mullai maari seperate the word.
Mullai means Forest and Maari means Rain - He mentioned vadivelu as a rain.
Mudichaviki - Releasing the knot it's a metaphor for praising the king about taking a good decision at a serious situation.
Mooda - not close (The praising about the King's hospitality by saying his doors are not close (mooda) for hospitality)
Punnaku - he said him to cause a suffer to enemy
Andangakkai - seperate the words andam means World and kaakai means - protect. It means saviour of the world.

Following the success of 23rd Pulikesi, the director (Simbu devan) of this movie is decided to take the 2nd part (namely 24th pulikesi). But Vadivelu walked out of this movie due to the conflict between Vadivelu and producer (Director Shankar). Shankar, approached the producer's council against Vadivelu.The Producers Council has requested all its members in the Tamil film industry to not cast the Vadivelu in their films in future.This is the reason why he is not acting today.

Vandivel sir is very great commedian and good actor and good face expressions and good attitude .he is legendary and natural artist. The world never not see another vadivel sir. actually i have to explain the poetry part in tamil there are same words in a diffrent meaning. that one is ancient tamil so vadivelu understands that poem in a wrong way after that poet explain also he's not convinced.

This movie is directed in the way of 150 yrs back but you have to keep an eye that most of the content in this movie is related to the current modern life. Example: Govt employees working schedule, Changes of residence new number & old number, Coca Cola & Pepsi arrival etc., I bet you’ll enough the govt employees comedy which is a real fact in India 🤭 and I don’t to explain you more about this..
