The best analysis of Curry’s handles that I’ve seen yet. That left hand in and out truly is the core foundation of his off the dribble iso game, flowing into his step backs, left drives, and crosses/behind the backs. In that way I think his handles are more predictable than Kyrie’s, but equally/more difficult to stop, given the threat and speed of his shot.
Just saw your Kyrie Irving handles's video last week. Started shifting D1 and D2 starters the sameday. We all was running 5's at an local highschool. Now and D1 assistant coach wants to work me out and see what I have.
Plenty of tips in that video. However, useing the ball to sell your move was a whole different level of ballhandleing for me. Also changing the speed of your dribble. I have always known the effectiveness of changing speeds. However, I changed speeds using hesitations and stepbacks (b4 watching video). I did not think of a slow to fast double crossover (I was killing them with this). Also I was not aware of the many combinations and setups that comes with it. In this channels Damion Lillard video I saw his signature setup between the legs the blow by. I applied this to my game, but I did'nt feel comfortable useing the counter move they have provided in that video. After watching Irvings video, I have understood the key principles of dribbling (particually how to breakankles). Cp3's video shows how to be effective off pnr's, how to protect the ball at all times, and how to be deadly from mid range at any given time. Curry's video teaches you how to create space for your shot also how to use hesitations to confuse the defense. Lillards video teaches you signature moves that any one can use, while also showing different variants of the stepback and when to use them. Lastly Irving's video is the melting pot. How to use your handle for all things, to set up the pnr, to create space, also teaches signature moves.
Long_Live_Mahlz I'm a be honest, i hope you go really far in basketball(if that what your intentions are) I wish I can do the same as you, sad thing is I'm only 5'4 and short
You are pumping out top quality content. This deserves WAY more credit. I can not stress it enough, I mean I am very analytical myself with that said I am VERY IMPRESSED.
Hey bro great vid, 1 thing that bothers me a bit though. Not to be picky but, would you mind putting the text like a second or two longer? That would be great, thanks.
It's a beautiful thing to watch.poetry in motion on the hardwood.I call him the "magician"....Earl "the pearl"Monroe,Isaiah Thomas and "Pistal" Pete Maravich.but with unlimited range and beautiful finishes around the rim. Chef Curry indeed.
Steph Has Great ball controll his crossover is no where as deadly as kyries....but his shooting ability is so crazy you have to be close at all times and he going around you...but it all comes back down to his shot
Your vids are helpful and Can you make a video of kyrie irving about his moves and finishes, and if possible, please make the texts or annotations longer enough to read it properly
dude you had 100 subscribers when i subscribed...im glad to see u at 1000...but i think a video for defense of all positions are needed..point being the hardest
Mothlack Serious though, Klay isn't known for his handles at all. Of course Kyrie has better handles than Klay. That's like sayin Wade has better handles than Lebron. Or Westbrook has better handles than Durant.
By Any Means is a dream come true. Will you bless us with Jason Kidd Tim Duncan Manu Ginobli Tony Parker Jamal Crawford Dennis Rodman Zach Randolph Paul Pierce Chris Mullin Larry Joe Bird Magic Johnson Greg Popovich thank you so much for your insight effort and time!
On the second handle clip of Stephen Curry handling the ball in the right wing, he is defended, does a crossover left then right, and does what appears to be a step back behind the perimeter, but drives into the paint for a layup. Was that step back legal as it seemed like travel because he did the step back with the ball in his left hand, and the proceeded with the drive?
Can you do even a small video on curry's in and out. Whether it's mechanics or whatever. I can't put my finger on it but his in and outs are truly a sight to see on the court along with how he utilizes them. Also, I'd love too see a video on ways to set feet quicker because that's something every great shooter is exceptional at.
+Joseph Herlambang Carmelo Anthony will be out tomorrow, which will feature post moves and triple threat face up scoring. We will do an exclusive post move video in the near future.
Can I request a few Iverson, Steve Francis, Kemba Walmker and Isiah Thomas(zeke) if they aren't already on here? I haven't gotten a chance to look through yours yet.
Steph handles are too soft ... can't really shift the defenders much. His palm fake move is the most effective move but his crossover is very risky at times

His in and out is deadly he needs to use it a lot he will be able to get to his spots at all times

He's light years ahead of Kyrie.
I'm only 5'11 1/2 does that matter or can I still dominate because I have this skill set
xtremedeathkiller12 well you are already taller than IT 😉 so I think I answered your question and you probably grew now
Only 5’11”? Shut up 😞

Will you make one about Lebron and MJ someday as well?
dardo1201 MJs a good one by hisself because of how his style changed so drastically.
blacktee31 Well yeah :D, I meant seperate vid's not a comparison.
Curry got a high ball IQ and a legend to be, but then i still rate Kyrie over him, i mean when it comes down to footwork, handles and clutch shots
I shoot the best I am mutton curry :D #Gangshit
Kyrie Handles >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Curry Handles
maybe
Nah. Kyrie's handles = Curry's Handles. But Jamal has better handles than both of em
how about...no
hhh get back to sleep its late.
David James 2015
Steph handles are too soft ... can't really shift the defenders much. His palm fake move is the most effective move but his crossover is very risky at times
