I have that exact bike. Bought it brand new. Back then we took off the oil pump and ran them pre-mix. The pumps and cable were unreliable. Timing is critical or the thing kicks back like a mule and can shatter the kick start idler gear. It had a weird quirk that allowed the engine to run in reverse if stalled at TDC. Awesome bikes compared to the Bultaco and Ossa of the time.
Reminds me of my first bike, a Yamaha 175 of the same vintage I picked up in '81 for around $200, I sort of recall. Sweet machine!

1968 DT-1 250 was the first one.
