Thanks for hanging out in the Seattle weather, better weather than around here. It's 1:15 pm in the afternoon and we're still 9 F with a windchill of -8, but sunny. by Tuesday night we're catching the edge of a Nor'eastern and getting 8 to 10 inches of snow again. Ah, life in the Maritimes. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching, Charles! I've seen that the NE is going to get hit with up to 12 inches of snow. Right now we just have a high overcast and it's lovely outside.
Yeah, it's big cold front moving down from Northern Quebec, New England's getting hit day and it's going swing around and get us on Tuesday and Newfoundland on Wednsday, hopefully it will the last big one of the season, after all spring starts on the 21st.
Another great video :) Ships with an aircraft carrier moored nearby surely get the watcher into the seaside mood. And plus for the radio coverage as well. Great stuff, best regards from Poland!
Thank you for that information! I could tell that it was being towed, but I had no idea what was behind it. It was pretty far to the west and it was raining so it's kind of indistinct. It was definitely a surprise to see it!
It was mothballed at Bremerton since 1998. Headed to Brownsville, TX, and will be towed around the tip of South America. Commissioned in 1959, a real piece of history
Thank you. If you look at a map of Seattle along the waterfront, you will see Myrtle Edwards Park. You can follow the railroad tracks to the south where they disappear into a tunnel. That's basically the south end of the North Portal. The north end would probably be at Galer St. where Balmer Yard begins.
Another great one. I love it as one train passes a crossing, another shows up in the other direction. Only when your in a hurry.
Thanks! Seems to be quite a bit of that recently which is good for me but sure screws things up at rush hour.

Thank you. I was very surprised to see the aircraft carrier. Evidently it was being towed away for salvage.
Another neat video! Lots of great power, especially the BN SD60M's!
Yea, those were a cool catch! Thanks Andrey!

Very nice video, love those BN 60M's. That aircraft carrier was neat as well.
Thanks! I was surprised to see the USS Independence. I didn't even know what it was until one of my subscribers told me.
Still using that big ole fancy camera? Great video and thanks again
Yes, except now I have three of them! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Subscribing. Thanks ❤️👍
Thank you. I appreciate it!
Nice catch of the USS Independence on its way to scrap. I was hoping to get it Friday but they postponed it a day due to weather

Very interesting! Thanks!
The lead shot of the Olympic Mountains looks like a painting. Is this shot from the bridge?
Probably from the bridge I was standing on. Beautiful spot!
Very good video. Where is the North Portal located?
