Listen. SHE saying stop crying but not only is this TRULY hard to watch for those of us who genuinely love her BUT she couldn't fully get through this interview without getting teary eyed herself so that tells me even though she doesn't want people pitying her, she DOES STILL grasp the heaviness of this and why we WOULD cry. This made me so emotional. I am SO glad she's healing.

(She needed a hand to negotiate those steps to where Tamron Hall waited for her.) But she is still magnificent in every way--her beauty, her voice, her strength, her determination, her perseverance! What a role model she is for all of us!

She told the full story to Robyn Roberts. Her hotel room had a deck with an infinity pool, but no railings. She didn't take a tour of the room during the day, so she wasn't aware of the lack of railing. She went out to the deck to check out the pool, and fell 10 feet down.
