  • Rich creamy shahi chicken curry
    𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨:
    Oil - 4 tbsp
    Spices (Cloves - 3, Cardamom - 6 to 7, Cinnamon -2)
    Onion - 2 sliced
    Chicken - 500 g
    Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
    Yoghurt or whisked curd - 1 cup
    Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
    Chilli powder - 2 tsp
    Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
    Cumin powder - 1 tsp
    Garam masala - 1 tsp
    Salt - 1 1/2 tsp or as required
    Fresh cream - 3 tbsp
    Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
    Nutmeg powder - 1/2 tsp
    ⁣“𝑶𝒉 𝑾𝒐𝒘” 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒆:⁣
    1. In a pan, heat oil and add the spices. Then add the sliced onions and state until golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté until raw smell goes.
    2. Add in the chicken pieces. Mix well and cook until the chicken turns white.
    3. Now add about 4 tbsp of curd (from the 1 cup), mix well and then add in all the spice powders. Mix well and sauté for 2 mins.
    4. Then add the remaining curd and fresh cream and mix well. Add 1 cup water and cover and cook on low flame for 15 to 20 mins.
    5. Add the cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 more mins. Finally, garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
