Love the video & how the hair turned out! Quick question If I use a 30v will the hair turn out lighter or darker than the one in the video or does it not matter? Does the developer only speed up the process and not affect the color?

I've tried burgundy box hair dye with developper before alone and mixed with the box dye after on my light brown virgin hair but it didn't do anything ot just darkened my hair ends

This is the exact color i want shade and all . But the wig I have is 613 and lightly toned .. should I dye it black before doing this ? Or should I mix the red with a black dye to get a darker red
You can just buy adore or kiss colors in the same shade and apply it to your wig.
So wait question do you use like one box and when it runs out you make another mixture? Or mix all theee boxes in one bowl?

Did you use the little tubes that come with the L’Oréal dye ? Or just the color and volume developer?
The little tubes don’t come with the magenta shade. But yes you do need to add the little tube to the mixture of the dye and the developer if it does come with a particular shade.
@@ifeomacrystal Her question completely threw me off, what “little tubes” is she talking about? The l’oréal magenta box you showed in the beginning before the 40v developer? Or is there another tube i’m supposed to use for the mixture?
I completed this process with a different color which included leaving the roots of the hair alone so that the dye could "bleed" into the strands on its own. Well... I ended up going back to, carefully, dye the roots manually since all but the roots of the unit were dyed the color I wanted. Leaving the dye to bleed through to the roots cost me additional time to go back and "fix" what I should have done in the first place: Dye the roots as you dye the hair, but be very careful about touching the lace cap with the brush.
If you watch the video carefully I went close to the roots without getting to close to the lace and the dye actually did dye the roots without getting on the lace. That’s why I did mine in one process. You probably didn’t go as close as you should have.
@@ifeomacrystalI colored all but a half of an inch away from the roots. There was very little remaining of the unit that wasn't dyed by the time I finished applying my mixture. I cannot speak on your results, but mine left me with a half an inch of undyed root strands throughout the unit. I would love to provide an image of how close I got to the roots here but I can't.

Probably 1inch I think & no you have to make sure you rinse the dye out properly.
I was planning on doing this to one of my old wigs. Since the knots on my wig are already bleached what should I do to them so I don’t mess it up
The knots were bleached in the video as well, so like I mentioned in the video try not to get too close to the root
