I’m sure others have told you, but just in case...... After part 4, I hope you watch the live performance of the cypher medley. It’s one thing to hear the studio version, but to see them live, it’ll blow you away. Their stage presence, swagger, and the ability to get the entire audience hyped to the max is simply amazing.

I am 54 years old from Compton California. I grew up when hip hop/rap was new. I hold these 7 guys next to my favorite rapper in my day. Warren G loves these guys. He worked with BTS and RM alone. To me that was epic. I am digg'n these guys.

One of the best parts of the Cyphers since they were released over a period of time is to see their development through the years as rappers and producers, their beats get better, their flow improves and changes, their lyrics get better. Especially your boy J-Hope's development since he actually started rapping after RM and Suga, once he joined the group, his main role was as Dance Leader since he was an underground dancer before but he's become an amazingly talented and versatile rapper. I'm glad you're enjoying them AND enjoying the bars because their wordplay is insane.
Just a detail, he was never supposed to be a vocalist. That's a misconception (people sometimes think he "switched" with V).

Pleeeeease pause when you are reading those. The whole THING is written, no voice-over. They don’t go by too fast, but if the video plays while you’re reading you can miss stuff. We love it when reactors take in the footage AND absorb what’s written. Time disappears when that happens.

Suga did a vlog showing a piece of production hardware, showing how he generates beats.... and that beat ended up on his solo mix tape: He even works on it when traveling for concerts.... they all do..... one reason why we love and respect them so much. You are falling down the rabbit hole fast... welcome to the BTS world. I'm ARMY here. I've been ARMY since they came up with "I Need U". The music video for "I Need U" (Original Version) is actually the beginning of the storyline that makes up the BTS Universe. You know of the Marvel Universe & the DC Universe, right? Well, BTS has their own storyline that runs through a bunch of their music videos & trailers & their webtoon & books too. No one is playin' the game like they are... NO ONE... period! Once you fall down THAT particular rabbit hole of the BTS Universe, there is really no escape from that. Don't say I didn't warn you! LOL!!! :-p Just sit back & enjoy the ride :-)
BTW Cypher Pt. 3 aka Killer is my most fave cypher among the 4. Supreme Boi with the 3 rappers just kills it! Supreme Boi was one of the original members of BTS before they debuted as an idol group. They were supposed to have been a hip-hop group initially, but when that didn't happen, Supreme Boi ended up being one of BTS's producers, so he's pretty legendary, 'cos he's been there even before their debut and he's stayed with them ever since. Gotta pay the guy some respect here, 'cos it is certainly due.

Fun Fact about J-hope he was originally gonna be a vocalist but in the ended he became part of the rap line. Before joining the group he had never rapped, he learned how to with the help of RM & Suga. He practiced for hours to be as good as he is now.

They use the Greek god Dionysus, the god of drinking, partying, etc as a metaphor for their addiction and love for making music like how alcohol can be an addiction, their addiction is making music and the wordplay they use.. they said you can find art in a glass of alcohol because 예술 (ye-sul) means art but 술 (sul) means alcohol. BTS definitely have a lot of respect for Hip Hop and have always been inspired by many OG hip hop artists, one of Suga’s favorite rappers is actually Eminem as well! But BTS’ old music has that Hip Hop feel for sure like “Hip Hop lover”, “We Are Bulletproof pt2” along with a few ballads, they’re one of the most diverse groups honestly, they have music to fit everyone’s taste.
