He wasn't hitting a falsetto. That was all full voice. Also, Allen was raised in church. His father was a minister. Allen wasn't allowed to listen to anything other than gospel until he left home. He was at a friends house and heard Stevie Wonder and it brought him where he is now.

His parents are both ministers and he sings from his soul. It is like you can hear God in him to me. I love it.

Watching you the minute you realized you were gonna enjoy this, was fun. Scrolled back through and didn't see a reaction to Allen, Live From His Mothers living room. If you want to hear him go falsetto check that one out. He got the band at his mom's place and its smooth and jazzy. Or his accoustic stripped down version of Sex And Candy. Cant go wrong with either of those.

OK I have thought this from the very 1st time I saw this video.
