I really find it strange that those 7000 series trains (which are much too heavy for the Congress-Forest Pk Branch) short running to UIC-Halstead just don’t resume Douglass Pk service to at least Polk to benefit a UIC Campus-U of I Med Blue line connection severed with the creation of the Pink Line?! They are, after all, run completely empty, up the Loomis Junction all the way southwest to 54th/Cermak!!
