I don't know if you know this, but it was Kotoko who teached Mami how to wrote lyrics, when it was decided Mami would have her debut. (Before this, Kotoko wrote almost all Mami song lyrics. And that's why Kotoko is credited together with Mami in radiance lyrics.)
Ah, something I forgot to mention: Mami Kawada and Kotoko were also from the same music school, and one of their teachers was Eiko Shimamiya (yep, the one who sings Higurashi anime ops, that's why in some I've old videos, everyone calls Eiko, Eiko-sensei). Utatsuki Kaori (Hayate ED, Tsuyokiss OP), ASUKA (Nobunaga the Fool ED) and RINA (who recently wrote Girly Air Force OP and ED, and sang a insert song in the same anime) were also her students.

I've never watched Shakugan no Shana, but I love all the OP and Endings. Light my Fire is literal fire🔥 and Serment by Mami Kawada is amazing
