i know you wrote this awhile ago, but i can assure you, you can unlock unfounded speed if you train for it. you have to change your lifestyle if you want to be a d1 athlete - it’s intense, but if you want it you can get it :)

What altitude do you workout at? If you all run a lot in the morning dark I can let you try a light belt I’ve come up with. The roads looked long and straight, but some of those trucks went by kind of quick on the asphalt.

They usually record a bunch of stuff and post it on their website but only allow access if you have a subscription, but once they need something new to post here they post it on UA-cam. It’s very monetary based for milesplit and flotrack.

While aerobic system gains for this type of athlete are between 65-75%vVo2max, what might it be like to work in a zone that comprises neither a base pace nor a race pace? How important can zone 2 be for these athletes?
